Chang An explains the order to Wan Mei and helps her train. She does not take things seriously but when Chang An shows her what happens to those who fail or give up, she stops complaining. Per Chang An's persistence, Wan Mei has to train by swimming in cold water with her eyes close. This skill helps her pass the first level exam along with Wan Xiang. Since there's only one position available, one of the girls has to be disposed of. The Magnate of Gui Hua sends both to serve the chief, in order to get Wan Mei into trouble and get rid of her. Our girl makes it to the next stage.

I wish that there is better communication between our leads instead of all this "I'll keep you in the dark for your own good" nonsense that is so prevalent in cdramas. So far, you can tell that the main girl already have some kind of crush on her shadow. I personally do not see the chemistry, but we shall see.
