The difference between a Chinese romance drama and a Korean romance drama is that there’s more non-romance plot in the former. Take Secretary Kim for example. If it’s a Chinese drama we’re definitely spending at least five episodes on “Young-Jun and Mi-So tiredlessly work around the clock to get the arts centre to open early, but they must thwart at least five different corporate espionage schemes from a rival company, complete three different contracts in the nick of time, and break a secret code that hints at a darker mastermind hiding in their company.” While that is not necessarily a bad thing, here we just get “oh you thought some corporate fistfight is going on? Nope, just a catalyst to get those two in a dark room together to deepen their feelings”. Idk, the culture difference just struck at me.

Very unique and funny story. Thumbs up for this. I just hope that the impression I have from the first episode will continue to rise and won't go down.
