By the same writer and both have plot twists, things you never saw coming. Keeps you on the edge on your seat.

Both have characters using virtual reality and computer vision technologies.
In both series they have a relationship, feeling and connection towards a virtual character and the story-lines somehow are depended of these interconnection.

Both dramas are about gaming still there's some differences. Well, I liked both of these dramas. Memories of the Alhambra has some K-drama impact. Well obviously k-drama lol! If you are Hyun Bin and Park Shun Hye's fan then don't wait and watch!

If you liked The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, you’ll probably also enjoy Memories of the Alhambra.
Both shows play with this idea of “gamification” in storytelling, where things feel like they follow game rules instead of just normal life. In *The Legend of Kitchen Soldier*, that shows up through structured challenges and a sense of progression, like moving through levels and earning skills. Memories of the Alhambra takes that same concept further. It centers around an AR game that blends into reality, so mechanics like quests, combat, and leveling actually start impacting real-world consequences. It still has that game-like structure, but it’s more intense and suspense-driven.

It's similar from the game aspect and how it can affect the players of this game,, How dangerous it can be and How it can change the person's life

Similar virtual reality/ video game thing. That’s it... They are both romances. Serendipity is a shorter show compared to Memories of the Alhambra.

the characters both play a game of cost life. Gantz series and MotA series both contain elements of romance in gendre thriller and action.

both must beat the game itself : Gantz series (alien), MotA (game debug) and
*spoiler*
The ending is also the same as playing the lead left along (being guardian) the next waiting player is awaits.
Gantz is japanese trilogy movie with more gore and suspense which has their fans for taste of leave to imagination ending
MotA is korean drama, so people dont expect ending undone, hanging and need another SP

Both movies about some unknown power, some force that the person can’t control. The secret space, the disappeared and how to get it back, and that involve human disappeared

Both are sci-fi suspense thriller dramas with high level production quality. Alhambra was more focused on romance, while Reset was more focused on time loop and slight romance. In Alhambra, ML is the CEO of a video game company. In Reset, ML is a video game designer. Both were led by good actors, writers and directors.

Both series take place both in real life and in a video game. Love O2O is more romantic, while Memories of the Alhambra is more action-thriller-mystery. Both are well written with brilliant actors and engaging characters.

Both dramas are about people who immerse themselves in a gvirtual reality game with great vissual effects that they can merge with reality. The avatars in it are made by and looks alike real people.

MOA is more gore and fantasy.. while LC is mostly romantic oriented.

Both are fentasy dramas that involve:

- special objects that give you unusual powers, but makes you target for multiple enemies;
- actual death people that are "alive" in another world and/or act as if they are alive, while actually they aren't
- atleast two team of people fighting to win a game/rushing to a certain goal with all means.... Having their lives on the line.
- a loss of loved ones and or members of the team

Both of these dramas feature a character getting stuck in a fantasy world or a fantasy character getting stuck in the real world.
But have romance, both have cute side characters, and both have open endings.
Pop Out Boy is a light, cute, webdrama while Memories of the Alhambra is a bit sadder and was aired on TV.
