Best Drama Ever!
I will say right now that this is the best drama I have ever watched. Everything about it is just perfect, every single one of the episodes are amazing, and the cast is the absolute best.I love Shin Hae-sun, she's so cute in this drama as Woo-Seo-ri. I think she's the best looking actress ever, and her acting skills are just as good too! Honestly, she doesn't even look 30, more like she's in her mid 20's, which is a bit funny in this drama as she gets called ajumma a lot!
The rest of the cast is also amazing. Yang Se-jong as Mr Gong and Ahn Hyo-seop as Chan did an excellent job, both very likeable characters.
One of the reasons I love this drama is because it doesn't make you feel angry at any point, as there are no villains. There is no one you can really hate in this drama, even including the guy who caused the accident in the first place. The whole drama makes you feel good, and the ending will make you happy.
There was also a part in this drama that actually made me laugh out loud. Never before has a drama actually made me laugh before, especially as I was trying to stay quite while watching it!
Usually, there are a few things I can point out that I dislike, but this drama is so good that I can't think of anything I don't like about it! The only thing I will say is that the rewatch value isn't too high, as once everything gets revealed at the end, it isn't as enjoyable to rewatch the whole thing while knowing what's happened already.
Overall, I absolutely recommend Thirty but Seventeen. I chose to watch it because of Shin Hae-sun, and it turned out to be the best drama I have ever watched! It's quick to make you want to keep watching and you won't regret it!

Entertaining and Endearing
cute romcom series!!! at first, i thought it is a entirely drama that will make me cry from time to time. don't get me wrong, i love that kind of series that is why i chose to watch this. however, it's not. it's funny and cute. yes, you'll cry sometimes but you will laugh most of the times because of its well written script and good castings. the music also adds to the overall vibe. the love triangle is cute tho even though the girl clearly shows only interest to the main lead.the female main lead is so good at acting, her acting is believable. the ending is so cute especially when the staffs and productions are shown. it is so cute to look at even tho the fact that the series already ended makes you sad.

Great casting and great story
I was just looking for something to watch while waiting for the next episode of Penthouse. So glad that I found this gem of a drama. This is definitely one series I would recommend to my friends. When I feel down, I go for dramas which are bright and uplifting. This one is exactly what I was looking for.
I loved the story and the actors. They are so full of depth and portrayed their roles flawlessly. The story was uniquely different. Just like most kdramas, the lead stars often have a childhood story connection. The way the story and this connection played out was really well told.
Both leads have great chemistry together. )Shin Hye Sun is already a favorite of mine after watching Mr. Queen)
I hope that both of them can star in another series together.

Chan is probably my favorite character, with his youthful enthusiasm and abandon, but when it came to facing his feelings and owning up to them, he was probably the most mature. This is Ahn Hyoseop's best role to date, and I think it showcased his potential to grow as an actor.
Yang Sejong and Shin Hyesun were revelations! This is the first time I've watched them in dramas and I look forward to their other projects :)
I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a kdrama that is light on drama, but still comes with lots of feelings and heart :) also, watch if you like dogs! Deokgu was one of the reasons I kept on tuning in - I looked forward to seeing how they'd incorporate him into scenes each week.

Mix of Romcom, melodrama & mystery
Thirty But Seventeen is a mix of different K-drama genres, like my headline describes. Overall I liked it, but I'll offer a more detailed review below.Firstly, the story:
The pacing of the story was a bit off, as it progressed reeaally slowly at the beginning, and it was at first a bit difficult to find some of the characters likable/relatable because of it. And towards the ending the pacing became a LOT faster, but if you don't mind that, this drama has quite an interesting story, I really grew to like it a lot. I liked the relationships between the characters, and I liked the bit of mystery that was mixed into this drama that could mostly be classified as a romcom.
Acting/Cast:
I scored this a solid 9. I feel like the casting was really on point on most of these characters, especially the female lead and some of the supporting characters were absolutely incredible. Though I felt like at the beginning the male lead was a bit difficult to approach, I warmed up to him too eventually.
Music:'
This drama had some fun OST songs, I have no complaints but they weren't exactly mindblowingly good either.
Rewatch value:
I never know what to give dramas in this category because I've watched K-dramas for like 7 years and I have only ONCE rewatched a drama, and that was just because I wanted to watch one drama together with my friend that I had seen by myself before. So I just usually score this section whatever don't mind me lol.
Overall:
Overall I scored this 8.5.
This drama was interesting and entertaining to watch, and it had a good cast, but there were some plot points, misunderstandings and story pacing issues that prevented me from giving it a full 10. I still consider 8.5 to be a good score. I absolutely adored most of the characters, and I enjoyed the mystery element in this drama. I think I would gladly recommend this if you like romcoms with a twist of mystery, if you don't mind slight pacing issues.

kdrama at its finest
This was just an amazing watvhing after drifting away from the romcom genre that got me into the kdrama world in the first place and watching newer more intense and complex dramas I needed a reminder of what got me here in the first place the characters were amazing the story is very much unbelievable but that didnt really affect my view on this I have to say that I became a Hye Sun after this she did more than well at portraying a difficult character in my opinion shes didnt make her over childish nor too muture and also characters like Jennifer usually make me cringe but she was such a delight chan and his friends were my main reasons of liking this drama rather than the romance partWas this review helpful to you?
My first Shin Hye Sun drama and I'm impressed. She potrayed her character exceptionally well (a 30 year old woman whose mind is still stuck at 17 year old).
Love all of the cast and their chemistry as well.
Quote of the day : Don't Think, Feel!! By Yoo Chan

10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m usually a 'one-and-done' viewer, but I’ve already watched this drama twice—it’s just that special. The chemistry between the leads is incredible, but the supporting cast really steals the show. The nephew and his group of friends have the kind of pure, hilarious friendship that makes you want to join their squad. It strikes the perfect balance of laugh-out-loud comedy, sweet romance, and just enough mystery to keep you hooked. Plus, between the beautiful violin music and the adorable Rowling, it’s a total 10/10."Was this review helpful to you?
Though I'll tell you one annoying thing this show does is how every ‘cliffhanger’ Never. Does. Anything!
The episode gets to a critical moment, then boom, freeze, end of episode. And then in the next episode, the exciting 'thing' never happens!! I made up a fun game before I started a following episode, called ‘Guess What Interruption Or Random Thing Can Stop This Plot Point From Happening’. Ugh the writers are such trolls
But most of all, I never want to hear the words 나때문에 (nattaemun-e) “because of me” / “it’s all my fault” EVER again. Trust me, if you watch it too - you won't either.
I mean the show’s cute and all but so many things would be cleared up so much faster if they just COMMUNICATED! The amount of time it took for things to get revealed was ridiculous. For e.g. you have no idea how long it took just for people to find out that she was in a COMA. Our female lead is returning home after 13 years all dazed and confused with the mentality of a 17 year old, and nobody asked? Ever? And she never brought it up?!
When it got 'revealed', I was like "I can't believe it took this long to reveal this basic fact, they LIVE TOGETHER"
Also the sheer amount of 'coincidences' was a bit unrealistic, even for kdrama standards.
And don't even get me started on all the repeated storylines
Despite all this though, I shouldn't undermine the enjoyment I got from watching it. One thing I wasn't expecting to get out of this drama, this feeling of gratefulness? To see someone who had 13 years of her life taken away from her, all that time she lost.......kudos to her for being happy a lot of the time after losing all those precious years, damn. I don't know about other viewers, but that's the main thing I took from it: to be thankful that we are living and that we do have time ahead of us.
Other things that were refreshing:
- no villain wrecking havoc
- the male lead’s best friend was a woman who WASN'T presented as a romantic second lead
- no lead chases the other first, they fall in love slowly at the same time as they heal each other's trauma
- Jennifer's character. enough said
The show also has a lovely finale to remind you why you enjoyed the show in the first place. Because my fave part was whenever everybody got together in the house like one big happy family <3
In short: this drama is nothing spectacular, but it's nice :)

Such a beautiful, feel good, laugh out loud, cry yourself insane kinda drama!
Oh my what a superb, beautiful drama with all sorts of healing and growth going on. Absolutely loved it. It captured the painful moments so well with the heartbreaking soundtracks, combined with the uplifting and heartening ones that left us full of energy and happiness. I cried buckets, laughed out loud like a complete idiot and just all round felt engaged throughout. Wonderful pacing, wonderful story, wonderful cast (such chemistry!), just truly wonderful on every level. Jeongmal kamsahamnida <333Really going to miss it now...ugh that doom and gloom void that us kdrama lunatics feel once you've marathoned and completed a truly gripping, beautiful drama.
