Story of Yanxi Palace Episode 2 Reactions
I felt so sorry for Wei Ying Luo and her sister. Wei Ying Luo gave the girls the answers they deserved with her intelligence, and once again I was amazed by her intelligence 😻 I thought that noble consort Gao would make plans for Lady Yu. If only concubine Yi hadn't committed suicide... I was happy that Wei Ying Luo defended the truth until the end. Oh, Emperor Qian Long noticed Wei Ying Luo. The episode ended on the spot 😭😭😭😭

The first episode was quite refreshing jump to Qing harem drama. But with the developments in episode 2...My very first Chinese drama was Empresses in the Palace and since then, I have failed to discover a drama of this theme to show anything new. Even new ones copying it aren't as bold. From the rumours, I have expected to be surprised by this drama in a good way. But after a promising first episode, I see nothing but reused tropes in the 2nd one.
