Fan Xian uses Guo Bao Kun as a distraction for the Shen Zhong’s spies while he searches for where Yan Bing Yun is being held captive. Shen Zhong seems to be one step ahead of Fan Xian until Fan Xian realizes an important detail that Shen Zhong didn’t think of. Fan Xian decides to take the risk and save Yan Bing Yun, who is constantly being tortured to get the names and whereabouts of the Inspection and Control Bureau spies.

Joy of Life Episode 38 Reactions
Finally we see Bingyun! I waiting for Xiao Zyans appearance and I was so curious as to what kind of a character Bingyun would be. Based on their first encounter in Danzhuo I thought he is more of a sly jerk who wants the best for himself but now I see that he is indeed very intelligent and careful and probably cares for Qing very much (and not just for his own benefit) I expected of course Bingyun to not trust Fan Xian from the go but I also thought that he will show more aggressiv attitude towards him, the happier I am to find out that Bingyun seems like a reasonable person on Fan Xian’s level of thinking, so they actually can have a good talk with each other.I’m really excited for the next episode and see more of Bingyun.
