Yan Bing Yun notices discrepancies in the account books and determines the smuggled money is enough to raise a rebel army against Qing. Not realizing Sheng Zhong has set a trap, Shang Shan Hu rescues his father, Xiao En. Though trapped, Shang Shan Hu manages to escape, as does Xiao En, who is hunted by He Daoran and Lang Tao. Chen Ping Ping receives word that Fan Xian is still alive, while Fei Jie and Fan Jian are upset the black knights are not helping Fan Xian.
