Foodies Hop On for the Ride!

Time Travel. - Laughter, great chemistry, action, romance.. I lapped up this fairy tale story, despite the mediocre special effects, acting and sometimes, actors. Why? omsl! The FOOOOOD wow! And the FUNNY! It is completely over-the-top, everything, and I LOVED it ALL. The cheesy effects just made stuff all the funnier. Did I mention the food? Good grief! You will drool! I wanted to rate this lower for the mediocre effects and kitschy acting, but I just could not. I drooled too much and snickered and laughed too much. I would just be a plain hypocrite.
-The Chemistry between the leads is excellent.
- Fl. is a bright, excellent young chef, among a kitchen full of male chefs, vying for the power position. Of course, no matter that she is better than all, she is never given credit. One night she puts on a very special ring that changes the course of her life and launches her into adventure.
-Ml. is pretty great too.
-The production value seems a little off in the beginning but you either stop noticing or it gets better. Lots going on (you will not be bored). The story moves well enough and the cooking takes you through any drag. This drama is jammed full of laughs and great comedy. Lots of cheese and over-the-top stuff. Very well done.
- The FOOD. I have watched many foodie dramas, but to date this one has topped them all, for the sheer amount of deep-frying, steaming, boiling, baking. Both in ancient and modern times! Most impressive was the ancient cooking though.
-And can I mention all the cooking techniques I learned while watching? Kudos for showing all the interesting and novel ways the ancients got busy in their cooking areas/kitchen. LOVE!
I 100% recommend this drama for romantic foodies and for those who just need a good, lively, cheery drama to watch.

Great drama and lots of twists. The characters…

Great drama and lots of twists. The characters are very interesting. Only, I have noticed that there are quite similar scenes from other drama (Princess agents, Eternal love, Oh, my general, Go, princess, go ..) But still, very interesting, lots of humor and happy ending. And that's what I like most of all.
