So fun! a classic masterpiece
This is imo one of the classic masterpieces of kdramas. The young ML acting the gangster in a young body is super extra good. Omg that actor is HILLARIOUS, he totally nailed down gangster behavior and it is so HILLARIOUS with his baby face lol Omg it is so funny.
He has more trouble acting love :)
the other ML is great as usual, i like all his roles I have seen so far, he is really a great actor

Just feel good and Nothing complicated of sorts
Okay first of all this story was one of those amazing stories that will leave no residue in your mind ..I mean you just watch it .. feel peace in your mind and that's all , you go back to your normal self ..not like those frustrating plots that keep going in loops in your brain for hours after watching it.The plot has incredible momentum as a lot of things happening (plus past incident/forgotten relationship is also revisited) but nothing seems overwhelming of the sorts as entire thing was in perfect harmony.
The leads actors were amazing they really did great with playing the exchange soul thing. Though there wasn't much romance but the thrilling comedy filled the gaps . Ending sound track was lovely .. overall a good pick for your weekend evening.

fun action scenes, but story is problematical
watched on Kocowa. Park Sung Woong is in his comfort zone here as it is not a stretch from his character personality in Man to Man or Unlock my Boss. Jung Jin Young's action sequences are fun to watch. The kiss between the student and the mother was NOT fun to watch ! a good deal of awkwardness and a decent happy endingWas this review helpful to you?
WONDERFUL
OMG what a movie!!! Excellent, wonderful, charming, all in a 2-hour film. Definitely worth seeing. Indeed, at first it's boring, but as soon as the real action starts, you won't tear yourself away from the screen. The story is excellent, the acting, but especially the actors, very handsome. If you're bored and want to see a movie with drama, happiness, a little crying (even if that's not really the case in this movie, but if you're very emotional, you might cry), this is the right movie. Effective, WONDERFUL!!! 10/10 worth seeing. I recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
Funny and Feel-good
The Dude in Me is a hoot – easily one of the funniest movies that I have ever seen. If you are looking for entertainment, watch it. It is comedy gold from start to finish. What makes it remarkable, though, is that it gives much more than just laughs. A story of love, forgiveness, and second chances, it will warm your heart and make you smile as you follow the struggles of gangster Jang Pan Soo and high school student Kim Dong Hyun, who find themselves in each other’s bodies.
The highlight of the movie are the actors, especially the two main ones. Park Sung Woong is brilliant in his portrayal of a teenager stuck in the body of a middle-aged man. However, it is Jung Jin Young who steals the show with his exceptional, and exceptionally funny, performance. He nails it! I am impressed, and I think that you will be too.
Overall, if you are in the mood for a feel-good comedy with an interesting plot, you should watch this movie. It is also great for the approaching holiday season.

A masterpiece that can lessen depression
I watched this movie after watching a short video where the lead transforms. It was so cool that I had to watch the movie. I wish it was a drama so I could watch more of it. It was so unfortunate that movie ended after 2 hours. It is a masterpiece that is a must watch. It has interesting plot, amazing actors, handsome ML and funny scenes. I highly recommend it. I will surely watch it again. I had a good time while watching this. Movie ended but my excitement didn't so I thought sharing might lessen my excitement. Was this review helpful to you?
Superb acting
Both Jim Young and Sung Woong were equally superb in their roles both in their original bodies and switching bodies. This movie is too funny! Those slaps though! I have watched this movie twice now and the humor is somewhat like the Kmovie Extreme Job. Funny as heck. Sure the storyline is not unique but the twists are, and the actors’ portrayals of their character is just too engaging! It’s more of a feel good movie but the action scenes are great. Sung Woong is just super funny.
You MUST watch it!

Compared to other body swap comedies, The Dude in Me focuses mostly on Pan Soo’s story and his problems after he travels into Dong Hyun’s body. Even the stories that at first concern Dong Hyun, at the end were connected to Pan Soo himself through his relationship with other characters. It’s a one man story, sadly I was hoping for more of a duet, showing more evenly both sides of the swap.
Jung Jin Young did an amazing job portraying the characters, overshadowing even Park Sung Woong (let’s remember though, that he was far less involved in the story). He delivered with both comedy and action scenes, giving a well balanced performance.
One thing that I must complain about is the lack of redemption arc for Pan Soo. Everything just happens, without much of a reflection on his side. The opening scenes depicted him as too much of a villain, and later not enough work has been done to show him in a better light. The negative relationship between him and Dong Hyun’s dad was also brushed over and forgotten.
Overall: It’s, at times, a senseless comedy, but it will make you entertained. It works thanks to the good performance from the cast and reasonable duration - the movie does not drag.
