With nowhere else to go, Hao Lan accepts an alliance with Lu Bu Wei. With her background, she quickly becomes the lead dancer of his troupe and performs for the Prime Minister and his distinguished guests. Prince Jiao forcefully tries to take her back, but Lu Bu Wei stops him. Lu Bu Wei is thrown in prison along with Yi Ren when Qin state shows signs of war preparation at the border. Censor Li takes Hao Lan back home and tries to marry her off to Minister Yu.
