Hao Lan is upset with Lu Bu Wei after discovering he held back on sending news that he was alive to her. She leaves him and tries to save Yi Ren from execution, but a furious Princess Ya rallies the people to execute them both. Lu Bu Wei returns to save both Yi Ren and Hao Lan by informing the Emperor that Yi Ren has been conferred as the Qin crown prince.
