This is amazing, watch it now!

Hi, so I see many of y’all never liked this drama, but listen up, you’ll never regret watching this. This drama is literally a breath of fresh air. I watched this when it came out, but here I am reviewing it years later because I watched again and couldn’t stand the low rating. The storyline is beautiful, the acting is on point, and everything about it is amazing, but I can say it had a little bit of a rushed ending but what can we do about it. This couple is fluffy and cute. If you can’t sense the chemistry, then something is wrong. Anyways please watch it!!!!!

An average show which I was getting into but the first male lead just not my thing I guess. I honestly started watching for Hongbin because being an idol is one thing but he's such a good actor on top of that so seeing him waste as a second lead here when the first lead his acting skills were truly lacking it just bugged me too much. Initially I started liking the characters but then it was the same old same old and that's fine if you have a first male lead you actually like. Which in this case didn't happen for me so I don't know I just couldn't enjoy it

This drama is lighthearted, clichéd and pretty basic, but it is entertaining enough to enjoy. This is nothing special, but if you have watched many serious types of dramas lately and want something light and romantic this is exactly the type of show that will satisfy your craving. The acting is just okay, nothing outstanding but nothing too bad either. The character development is almost nonexistent, and there is no much depth to the story, you get what you see. The chemistry between the main couple is good, even though their relationship can get petty at times.

Overall this drama was enjoyable. The comedy was good and the storyline interesting enough. There was a lot of emphasis on romance so if you are into that this is a show for you.

A funny pick me up

Watch this along time ago and again now. Still thinks it a really funny Dram and a must watch. It's about 3 witches that run a restaurant and are trying to live in secret, but that's about to change. Her landlord Sung tae decides to move in as he has spotted memories of this place/area. Turns out when he was young he was kidnapped and he is still trying to find answers. His rich mother keeps trying to make him forget his past and move out. In the meantime Jae wook has had a crush on Cho Hong for quite awhile, but just can't get her to change from a friend to boyfriend. All the mishaps and spells are great. If need a pick me up. Watch this 👍🏻😂

What a wasted potential. The story started off unique and interesting then the last few episodes demolished everything.

Story: I liked the witches world they drop you in, everything was possible with a snap of fingers, however half way through the series I was only watching for the sake of watching, no excitement or hype, just wanted to reach the end, and when I did I was disappointed even further.

Cast: I have to admit the couple was cute, the old ladies actually looked like witches too.

Music: Nothing special, they fit in scenes but not gonna listen to OST outside the drama.

Rewatch: Not at all, after you learn how disappointing the ending was you won't want to touch this drama with a 10ft stick.

Overall: Not too awful, not great, you can watch this since it's only 12 episodes and you won't suffer much.

Light and Cute

I'm leaning on old kdramas recently. It took me a while, glad that I found this drama. This has simple story lines and very cute chemistry. Will I rewatch, surprisingly, YES! I laughed a lot and cried as well. Yoon So Hui's acting is not at its best here, though. She's so good in "Emperor Owner of the Mask".

Why, just why.

I was thoroughly enjoying this show at first. Light, cute, and a unique storyline. I'll fast forward to where I got turned off; it's when I realized the main female lead would end up with the main male lead. Dumb, right? But with the chemistry that she had with the second male lead and the fact that he was the one who brought her power back, I thought maybe beyond all hope, they'd actually put them together. Like, come on. Let's falter from the set character norms for once. There was absolutely nothing that made the male lead attractive. He was rude and had no personality to make him endearing despite his bad attitude.
My hopes were finally dashed maybe half way through, so I just skipped to the last episode. For some reason, I just couldn't stomach the show after that. Maybe because of the fluff storyline, maybe because I already knew how the show would end.
Anyway, I definitely wouldn't watch it again and I don't think I'd recommend.

Trash. Plot made by female stupidity and his/her misunderstandings. TERRIBLE acting of FL etc

I watched this to the end bc most kdramas take a U turn that is unsusepected and you get the hidden gem. But not this drama LOL
This drama was all right at the very very end.
But from the beginning to almost the end, ... it was .... BAD, contrived and forced, mostly

The script is mostly trash until the very end and makes plot by FL stupidity and misunderstandings between her and ML and then all bad decisions of her "family."
At the very very end it gets better. When they fight and destroy bottles LOL

The whole crew are not the greatest actors at all. Maybe only the webtoon writer could act genuinely and felt like a real character. Everyone else was clearly overreacting to make sure they "act", FORCING their character instead of BEING the character, so it was very unconfortable forced to watch too,
but at least theiy tried to embody their character

FL was the worst actress ever because it was clear she was PRETENDING to act. It was frustrating to watch someone be so FAKE. She had that smirk of "I am acting this is not for real" and it was just ... contrived, fake, slimey feeling to watch someone who wasnt even THERE as their character but as themselves pretending to be someone else bc someone paid them for it or whatever. it wasnt genuine acting.

First dorama on maternity leave

English:
First dorama on maternity leave was really fun! Story was a bit strange - the part with the kidnapping, but it actually made sense at the end. Romantic part was lovely, love scenes well played by the actors, I liked also the love triangle (just the thing with the fate remained not so closed I think). What to watch next? I love Rakuten TV! <3

Slovak:

Witch's love was an interesting drama. It had a light story with a nice mythology behind it and some mysterious past issues that the characters had to fight through. But for me, the highlight of the drama was the romance. The couple had extremly good chemistry and the drama didn't shy off to show us skinship and intimacy. The love story, moreover, was really sweet and cute overall.
Now, the negatives of this show were A) that they handled too many stories and twists and they didn't manage to solve everything.
B) that the ending was rushed
But, overall, they handled the magic stuff really well and the performances were decent as well.

Such a magical drama - love it

10/10 is my rating. This is a 2018 South Korean drama spanning 12 episodes.
The female lead plays Kang Cho-hong (Yoon So-hee) who learns the hard way that an act of betrayal can make a witch lose their magic. She is told she must find her destined one to have her magic restored. Enter a wealthy Director with a troubled past who buys the building where Cho-Hong and her two elderly grandmothers (also witches) make a magical rice soup that people cannot get enough of. One of her best customers, Hwang Jae-wook (Go Soo-Hee) is in love with Cho-Hong and not keen on the idea of the wealthy young building owner who decides to move in to solve a mystery from his past.

Spoiler 🚨 I loved everything about this story. It was a little bit like Sabrina, maybe Practical Magic - just the right amount of magic sprinkled in. I love all the characters and the two Grandmas are great for comic relief. I liked the ending so much I had to rewind it and watch it again. This is one of my new favorites - it would be hard to pick between this and I am not a Robot.

Over all I thought that this drama was a light hearted and easy drama to watch. I definitely had some issues with it but overall I quite enjoyed my time while watching the drama and looked forward to the next episode.

Story: I thought the story was lighthearted and warm. It did seem to be rushed at some parts and unnecessarily drawn out at other parts. I feel like this could have been mended if it had 16 episodes to work with and not 12. but overall, it wrapped up all the major points (granted some of the story lines were left behind) by the end of the drama. I wish the story had gone more into the witch's world but I guess that couldn't be done with only 12 episodes. The story also had a lot of comedic moments which I loved too.

Cast: The casting was good. I thought each actor played their character well. The 2 main leads had good chemistry together and definitely encompassed the feelings and characteristics of their character which led to some very funny moments. The main couple had some really romantic moments too which I wasn't expecting so that was great! The side characters were good too. The second male lead was just lovable and cute (sort of checked out this drama because of him but fell in love with all the characters eventually) and the 2 grandmas were hilarious! I thought the character of the secretary was a little over the top but it didn't make me hate the drama. I felt this drama lacked character depth and back story but I think that was due to the drama only having 12 episodes to work with...WHY DIDN'T THIS DRAMA GET 16 EPISODES!!

Music: I thought the music fit the drama and the vibe the drama had. As I said before the drama is light hearted and the music had that same persona. I thought the music fit the drama well. Nothing memorable but the music and the drama fit together well.

Rewatch Value: I would rewatch this drama on a rainy day if I didn't have anything else I was interested in. It was a refreshing, light hearted and quick drama to watch. I fell in love with the main couple, which I wasn't expecting to do so I would rewatch it for them

Overall, as I said I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and easy drama to watch. It is cute and light hearted but don't expect anything deep. I thought this drama was quite enjoyable and I thought the witch aspect of the drama was really unique.
