Woo Ri the Virgin and My ID is Gangnam Beauty share several similarities despite their different plots: both feature a strong heroine who seeks to assert herself in the face of societal expectations, whether around purity or physical appearance. These series offer social criticism of cultural norms in South Korea, while blending humor, emotion, and sincere romance with respectful partners. They also place a strong emphasis on family, which strongly influences the characters' choices. In short, they are two stories centered around identity, resilience, and self-love.

In a way Im just using it as an excuse to shove Hit the Top down peoples throats.
But I also think whilst them both being very different they have a similiar feel to them, both are in their own way, dealing with being in your early 20s and I could very easily relate to both dramas.
Also obviously Cha Eun Woo as Do Kyung Suk is in it, playing as MJ.

- college setting
- MLs have a similar feel. They are both attractive, smart, cold people but they like the FL first and a lot.
- there is SFL lead that chases the male ML but he dislikes and mistrusts her and makes it very clear (I actually think that the SFL in professional single is more creepy because of the way she follows the ML even after he makes it very, very clear he does not like her even a little; as even just a human or friend. She feels like a stalker to me at times).
