The relationship of the 2 main lead here in this drama is cute and they do have the chemistry. They are not that lovey-dovey like the other c-dramas that I had watch. The other actors and actresses that play in this drama is fun to watch too. Especially the small friend of the girl main lead. Though the story didn't hooked me up that much but I think it's still great.

Overall I'll give it a 6/10. I got a little bored on the middle of the drama but the storyline is not bad. The actors gave justice to the characters they play and I like the acting of the male lead.

Who likes romance

A love story where two have indirectly connected to eachother . The Indirectly concept is related to their past story in which they had faced accident which ruined their present ,However they both overcome from it but like other dramas how this things solve so easily so to give their love story a painful experience , past storybof theirs came infront of them and make it complete melodrama.
I wished to see the love story between Mr.director and lead actress' best friend for which I waited till end but they didn't shown expected story , I want to see how they fall for eachother .
Rest all actors acting is good .
Story didn't shown much impact.
But jeolousy moments were funny.

Started Well

Smi:)e started out well, but the plot gradually diminished as the show progressed.

Starting out, we get a lot of smiles as the title promises. There is the cute FL who has some mystery to her, but enough gumption and drive for her career to make her likeable. Then we have the ML who is handsome and sweet, also with some mystery linked to a childhood trauma. Hint, hint, they're connected. Both of the leads have ptsd from said childhood trauma and I wish we would have gotten more of a focus on them overcoming the trauma. Since I have no problems with well-used clichés, I accepted the CT trope and moved on to follow the romance in search of more of the happiness the first half of the drama gave me. We get a bunch of side characters which were interesting enough, but there's a lot of them, so it got a little tedious following all of their drama. We also get an age-gap second ML, which, again, not an issue, but he got more scenes than the ML thus taking away from the romance plot.

I wish this had stayed mostly focused on the main couple because their chemistry and past history was enough to make the story watchable with just enough angst to keep things going. However, it fell victim the second half of the drama curse and took a sharp turn into angst-ville with a giant helping of evil characters and no smiles. The acting isn't bad at all, but the plotline became messy and canceled out any enjoyment from the first half for me. The ending felt too rushed and I would have liked to delve more into the progression of certain relationships rather than the drama. It wasn't all bad, but definitely fell short on the mark for me.

All in all, not a necessarily bad drama, but it did not deliver on its title for me.

Something was missing

The story started out really great and i enjoyed how it was playing out, but the story dragged out and felt rushed at the same time during the end.

The story itself was really good, but i dont think it was executed well. I have to say shu zhan and xiao xing had great chemistry and were quite cute together, but their relationship fell through before it began. This annoyed me because there was no communication at all xiaoxing just ghosted shu zhan.

I think they could have done a better job developing the characters. Especially shu zhan and du nian. Du nain was a brat from the beginning and the last episode she was suddenly a golden child, i think they should have worked on that better. And shu zhan wasnt mature at all, he was just childish.

I think the ending was rushed because the problems each character was going through was resolved within an episode. I felt that it should have been discussed and developed more. And the ending was rushed as well and we don't really see what happens to our characters, an ending is just show withour much explanation.

Although the show was really enjoyable in the first few episodes, i felt like the story dragged out and had holes in it. During about the last three episodes i found myself skipping scenes because they seemed like a waste of time. You guys may like it but this story was not for me. The actors preformed well, but the story itself was lacking.

I love this drama like sooooooo much. i love everything about this, the plot, the setting, and the cast. i wish the lead female and male should star together more often, they are sooo cute together. They are also amazing actors, they express their emotions and it looks so real and amazing and thats what i like about it. The story line is amazing, unique, original, and so interesting. Although you might find some of the characters annoying and mean sometimes but they all have their good sides. Overall i defenitley recommend this drama and its also one of my favs drama everrrrr. ;)

The plot is nothing new to be honest. Let's just say this is kind of like the plot about a male lead who is a germaphobe and a female lead who would be the only person that could get close to him. Kind of like that. The difference here is, this is a story of a male lead that is kind of scared of being around people, like an introvert but his anxiety manifests physically and a female lead who is an actress who always has roles as an extra but has a phobia around cameras that's why she mostly plays as a corpse. This addresses both their mental issues which stemmed from childhood. Of course, the cliché plot of them knowing each other coincidentally from childhood is added but surprisingly I was entertained. There were moments that I enjoyed.

Not my idle type drama. But it's okay!!

প্রথমেই বলে রাখি, ড্রামাটা আহামরি টাইপের কিছু না। আর বাকি আট/দশটা রমকমের মতই সাধারণ। কাহিনীও ইউনিক কিছু না। সাত/আটটা ড্রামারে একসাথে একপাত্রে রেখে ঘুটা দিলে যেটা হয় সেইরকম একটা জগা-খিচুড়ি মার্কা প্লট। না দেখলেও কোনো ক্ষতি নেই। তবে দেখতে পারেন। দেখতে বসলে ভালো লাগবে। শুরু করার পর শেষ না করে উঠা কষ্ট হয়ে যাবে! 😉😉
প্লট নিয়ে হালকা পাতলা একটু ধারণা দেয়া যাক! নায়ক একজন গায়ক, আইডল আরকি। তার অনেক ফ্যান-ফলোয়ার, মোটামুটি বেশ বিখ্যাতই বলা যায়। ক্যারিয়ারের এই পর্যায়ে এসে সে সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়, সে আর গায়ক থাকবে না। ক্যারিয়ার সুইচ করে এবার নায়ক হবে! মানে সঙ্গীতের পাশাপাশি অভিনয়ও করবে! আমাদের EXO/BTS-এর মেম্বারদের মত আরকি! 😬😬
আর নায়িকা একজন পাতি অভিনেতা। পাতি নেতাদের মত পাতি অভিনেতার কাজ হচ্ছে- একটা ড্রামা বা মুভিতে মেইন লীডরা ছাড়াও আরো ছোটখাটো অনেক রোল থাকে না? সেই রকম ডায়লগ বিহীন কিছু ক্যারেক্টারে অভিনয় করে আরকি! 🤐🤐
যেহেতু চাইনিজ ড্রামা, কিছু অদ্ভুত রোগের আনাগোনা না থাকলে কি হয়, বলুন? নায়ক 'নায়ক' হতে চায় কিন্তু তার সিম্পটম্প হচ্ছে কেউ তারে টাচ করতে পারে না। কারো টাচ লাগলেই তার নিশ্বাস-টিশ্বাস বন্ধ হয়ে মরে যাবার মতো অবস্থা হয়! এ কেমন নায়করে বাবা? 🙄🙄
নায়িকা আবার আরেক কাঠি সরেস! সে একজন অভিনেত্রী, কিন্তু তার সিম্পটম্প হচ্ছে সে ক্যামেরার দিকে তাকাইলে কথা বলতে পারেনা। মাথা-টাথা ঘোরায়, বেহুঁশ হয়ে যায়! এজন্য সে সবসময় ছোটখাটো ডায়লগ বিহীন ক্যারেক্টারে অভিনয় করে। কথা হচ্ছে, ক্যামেরার দিকে তাকাইতে পারেনা, কিন্তু হতে চায় নায়িকা, এ কেমন নায়িকারে বাবা? 🙄🙄
আচ্ছা যাই হোক, কথা হচ্ছে- জবা কি পারবে নায়ক/নায়িকাকে কাছাকাছি আনতে, দুজনকে দুজনের প্রেমে ফেলতে, তাদের অদ্ভুত রোগগুলো ভালো করতে? ওহ, থুক্কো, জবা তো মারা গেছে! প্রশ্ন রেখে গেলাম তিতলীর কাছে, মাননীয় স্পিকার!!! 🥶🥶🥶
ছোট-বেলায় নায়ক-নায়িকার মাঝে একটা ইন্টারেকশান না দেখালে এখনকার ড্রামা জমে না! এখানেও সেরকম কিছু দেখতে পাবেন যেটা নায়ক-নায়িকা ড্রামার শেষে এসে জানতে পারবে। মেইন লিডরা ছাড়াও আরো কিছু সাইড কাপল আছে। তারাও যথেষ্ট কিউট। সবচেয়ে বড় কথা এই ড্রামায় আসলে কোনো ভিলেন নেই। যারে পুরো ড্রামা জুড়ে ভিলেন মনে হবে, শেষে গিয়ে তার জন্যেও খারাপ লাগবে। কিস-টিসও খুব বেশি নেই! নায়ক যা-ও একটু দিতে টিতে চায়, নায়িকা 'মানুষজনে দেখতেছে' বলে এড়ায়ে যায়। বলতে পারেন পুরো সামাজিক একটা ড্রামা আরকি!!! 😄😄
এতক্ষণ বলতেছিলাম, চাইনিজ ড্রামা Sm:)e এর কথা। পড়তে কষ্ট হলে বলে দেই, উচ্চারণটা হবে Smile! হাতে সময় থাকলে দেখতে পারেন, খারাপ না। আমার ভালোই লেগেছে... 😇😇
