Episode Title: War God’s Awakening
Ling Xi is bored and escapes the peach forest when her father isn’t watching. She makes her way up to the heavenly realm where she causes a bit of a ruckus that isn’t quite her fault and escapes but is pursued by guards. She stumbles into a frozen realm where she finds a Jiu Chen (God of War) frozen. Curious, she pulls something from his hand, and he wakes him up.

Very interesting storyline. The fairy seems so innocent but she has the power to wake up the monster. She brought the God of War to life. Hmmm interesting. The hero is not so handsome but he looks rugged and macho.. suitable to be the hero. He looks seriousand the fairy looks innocent. Looking forward to watch the next episode.

From the beginning the series started the introduction on the right note. Informing the viewers who was who and although still too early to mention the admiration of Lingxi for Jiuchen is evident as she was not pleased to hear the God of War position begin taken over by Lord of Heavenly Thunder. Loving the drunk physician Le Bo character as Lingxi father.

Fantastic start... Both ML and FL introduced from the start although chemistry remains to be seen. Scenes are breathtaking and CGI is vast improvement on Peach Blossoms... Storyline seemed trite but it is all in the telling of the tale and so far so good. ML seems to have inherited Yang Mi's pixie/Star Trek ears but FL is gorgeous and charming. WOWed... 2019 is really looking up!!!
