AHHH the middle aged super in love couple in a couple outfit! Gahh they're so cute! And the repaired ripped jeans gag is perhaps not the most original, but excellently executed. I was laughing so hard.

I feel bad for Ma Dol, but at the same time, even though it's scary, you really have to take that step if you want anything to change. I feel like he had ample opportunities to tell her, not just on this date, but also since he returned from seafaring, but he was too scared to take that step. I like that the show gave them their time together -- usually the main lead will find a way to cut in or ruin the day, but Ma Dol got to spend the entire day with Kang Soon. Sure he was about to confess before Kang Soon got whisked away (why did she get in a stranger's car without knowing where she was going??), but once he actually got to the room, would he be able to bring himself to confess to her? I'm not sure because he was just as confident several other times.

I might have missed something in translation, but after giving Kang Soon that ambiguous confession, did Yoo Baek say "congratulations???" Wtf?? That's so self-centered! I'm hoping the writers are aware of that and that they'll have him grow even more over the course of the show. Also, Kang Soon still doesn't even know his name at this point lol
