1997, Summer. Aoi (Kiyohara Kaya) came to work at the "Yui Obstetrics and Gynecology Department" as an apprentice nurse. She is shocked to witness an abortion being performed and is moved after witnessing a birth. She works alongside the Director, Yui Tomohiro (Seto Koji) and the nurses Mochizuki Sayako (Mizukawa Asami) and Sakaki Mie (Harada Mieko). One day, she meets Tanaka (Ando Tamae), a pregnant woman.
