Ma Dong Seok is a big giant, i sooo love him.
I super love this action crime film it gives me a Hollywood vibes type of film. Ma Dong Seok never disappoint me he really nailed being the leader of the gangster he gave us his hoodlum and action star look. He really possess the action vibes in the action scenes, his very gullible his like a human teady bear. Partnered wilh oppa Kim Mu Yeal is the perfect combination, one over confident gangster paired wit a hot tampered cop is a perfect mixture to capture the serial killer. Although they have different motives in capturing him they still helo each other just to arrest the suspect .Although oppa Kim Mu Yeol looks dirty in this movie he is still hot 🤭.
This movie has satisfying ending, you will never get bored because you will enjoy watching its jam packed action scenes. It has the Hollywood action vibes level. You will see how the gangster and the cop help each other to capture the suspect.

Gave a real kick in the head !!!
A good & a pulpy crime thriller from Korea of well-worn plot tropes and slick production values.Supposedly, this was inspired by real events from a decade ago, but, while the 2005 setting is mentioned, it’s barely relevant.
The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil is sure fire hit for fans of this genre. The film doesn't dig too deep, but works because it doesn't get lost in the some of the deeper trappings of the genre.
Yes, it's car crashes and fight sequences and dry jokes, but it's a mix that will make you wow, wince and guffaw in just the right amounts, all carried off with a gritty style.
VERDICT _ A solid, if not quite exceptional, time-passer.

Watch this for the acting and - some of - the story and direction
Enjoyable serial killer chase, with a novel (to me) factor of alliance between (semi-rogue) police officer and gangster.Plenty of violence, but none of it overly graphic
Well enough written though there is no writer named here, well directed
I enjoyed this : its strongest point are the acting and character work
I find car chases, and chases through random areas rather boring, and of course quite few screen minutes were devoted to these, which I disliked. I also found some of the fight scenes pointless and time-wasting. FF was well used for those.
Some of the plot devices - even though I may not have seen them before in quite this form - felt hackneyed and fake. The internal conflict between police officers suggests (if realistic) that the Korean police system is both flawed and undisciplined. That these were breaking out into fist fights ... well, that felt very artificial and simply like a device to make the film longer without adding any value.
Much more could have been made of forensic investigation, with proper work conducted on the various lairs. and crime scenes. The techniques and lab work didn't need to be shown on screen, but the absence of any such investigation made this drama even shallower
There is no explanation on how the police and prosecution service dealt with the rules of evidence to initially justify retaining the killer, and secondly secure a conviction. Even though the conviction was based almost entirely on the witness statement in court, there were valid arguments to challenge the ID, and that he actually stabbed the witness. No such defence was offered.
So, while enjoyable, the plotting was too shallow for my liking, and leaves the drama less satisfying than it could have been if, say, most of the chase scenes were replaced by evidence, reason and argument.

My favourite korean movie ever
I watched it because of Kim Sungkyu, because he is my favourite actor. So i was a little nervous about the movie, because i don't watch a lot serial killer "theme" movies. But it worth it! It was amazing! I loved how Ma Dongseok acted the badass gangster, it was really his role! Kim Muyeol was amazing too! But Kim Sungkyu, woooah dudeee, such a talented young man, (I mean he is 35 soooo nvm) i think the reason why they casted Sungkyu for Kyung Ho's role was that they wanted a hot villain you know lmao :') Anyways i rewatched it for six times and i enjoyed it always. If you like serial killers, gangsters, action or crime i can recommend it!Was this review helpful to you?
unique storyline
unique storyline and perfect acting!, anyone who is into action and crimes will surely love this movie, the vibe and seriousness was fine but it needed a good pick of music in the right times that's all, but the most important negative thing about the movie is the unrealistic violence, things gets physical too often unreasonabley between people, even side charcters fight each othee overall it is a masterpiece which i recommand highly to the lovers crime movies, i hope you guys have a good time watching itWas this review helpful to you?

Que película tan buena díos, no le tenía fé sinceramente pensé que sería aburrida pero me sorprendió que desde el inició te mantiene atrapada, merece la pena totalmente. Encima las actuaciónes y las escenas de pelea son tremendas, te da ese sensación de emoción y frustración porque encerio lo tuvieron de frente y no lo reconocieron pero de ahí, si la volvería a ver. Super recomendada, el gánster (no me acuerdo cómo se llama) sin duda debería seguir haciendo ese tipo de papeles porque le van super bien, si daba la actitud y el porte.Was this review helpful to you?

Une chasse à l’homme ultra efficace… mais sans surprise...
Franchement… ce film c’est une vraie chasse à l’homme qui va droit au but 😈🔥Dès le début, on est plongé dans ce trio improbable entre un gangster, un policier et un tueur en série… et ça fonctionne direct. C’est rapide, tendu, sans fioritures, et surtout ça ne nous laisse aucun moment pour souffler.
Et clairement… le film repose énormément sur une seule présence : Ma Dong-seok 🫶🔥
Son personnage est ultra charismatique. Il vole chaque scène sans forcer, entre brutalité pure et petites touches presque fun qui rendent le tout super agréable à suivre. Honnêtement, sans lui, le film n’aurait clairement pas le même impact.
Par contre, si je dois être honnête… le scénario reste assez simple. On est vraiment sur une traque assez classique, sans énorme surprise qui viendrait retourner le film. Le tueur fait le job, il est efficace, mais il manque un peu de profondeur pour être vraiment marquant ou mémorable sur le long terme.
Du coup, le film fait très bien ce qu’il promet : de l’action, de la tension, du rythme 🔥
Mais il ne va pas beaucoup plus loin que ça. Pas de gros twist, pas de vraie complexité émotionnelle… juste une exécution propre et efficace.
Au final, c’est un film très fun à regarder, ultra rythmé, satisfaisant sur le moment… mais qui reste assez simple dans son exécution, il ne cherche jamais vraiment à surprendre 😌✌🏻
