Ji Xiang Kong, the strategist for the professional e-game team, Legends, finds himself in a predicament when Gu Fang, the team captain, struggles with keeping up in the game. Having a chance of winning the world championship, he begs the sponsors and coach to change tactics and protect Gu Fang, but they refuse, ending in shocking consequences. Meanwhile, Qiu Ying, an aspiring reporter, spends precious money to make it to Vancouver to see them play and live stream it for the online newspaper she works for. Late for the competition and struggling to keep up with what is happening, she has to face criticism from her boss.
