Just get to episode 2

After seeing this bland, sad episode I didn't like anything about the drama. I dropped it for a long while and then tried episode 2.Ended up loving the drama. Just had a bad start.

Even though this is a romance, so far it's…

Even though this is a romance, so far it's not the kind where the woman is in a miserable plight and the man swoops in to save her with all his money and flashy looks. I love that Dan-i is strong, independent, and self-reliant even though she's having the absolute worst time, possibly of her life. There are at least two occasions (with different men) where she could easily confess her dire circumstances, at which point they'd probably save her somehow, but she pulls away and decides to have faith in her own strength. Add to that that she's a divorcee with a child, and I'm really enjoying the feminist vibes I'm getting from this show so far. Hope it stays strong!
