When the Camellia Blooms Episode 14 Reactions
Jong Ryul faces hard truths about his wife. She’s only too willing to leave him all alone with their daughter for 2 years. I believe Yonk shik has summed it up well. Jong Ryul is looking back at what he’s lost. What he could have had. He gave up everything for his current life, and he’s not happy. It’s the life he worked to get and he has no right to just try to break into Dong Baek’s.
It breaks my heart when Yong Shik shows up with ice cream for Pil Goo’s team. To see all the kids eating ice cream. But to also see Dong Baek and Jong Ryul sitting together. I do like that Dong Baek tells Jong Ryul this:
“I was never a supporting role of someone’s life. I was always the lead actress.”
Not to mention that her life is not his. She’s in control and she’s made her choices. Jong Ryul followed Dong Baek back to the Camellia. He can see that Dong Baek is happy with Yong Shik. When she glows when Yong Shik comes in. Not to mention that Yong Shik takes Jong Ryul out for noodles and confronts him head on.
Which leads to a beautiful 5am shopping trip with Dong Baek and Yong Shik. Yong Shik says he’s not smart and doesn’t understand women. Especially Dong Baek. However, Yong Shik is mart enough to know that Jong Ryul is the only man she’s ever dated. That he needs to make it clear that he, Yong Shik, is not Jong Ryul. He is someone else. They’re getting to know each other and it’s so sweet.
That dramatic ending. I think it's safe to say that Gyu Tae is probably not the killer. It would be a twist now maybe, but he's the obvious choice and I feel like the writers are already denying it. I actually feel like he's a joke and an obvious choice for Joker to kill. ^_- I mean they have to get serious at some point.
