The Light in Your Eyes

Both dramas are romance, fantasy, supernatural genre about characters who have ability to manipulate with time.

Both shows have a really gritty, unfiltered depiction of people in poverty, downtrodden by their circumstances and random events that happen in the course of their lives. They also both show the reality of people trying to handle trauma and difficult things that happen in their lives. But both also have genuine moments of connection and commonality with others.

The movie "Love You Forever" is similar to the drama "The Light in Your Eyes (2019) " in the movie the male main leads travels back in time to save his first love from accident at the price of his fast aging and being erased from memories of people around him even his father .Where as in drama female main lead turns back time multiple times to save her father at the cost of her fast aging into a grandmother

I don't know how to write anything without spoiling the stories, but they both have a very similar plot twist. And they are both absolutely beautiful.

Story lines are completely different, but these two dramas just give you the warmest feeling upon finishing them. They both take you on an emotional journey and you can really get to know the characters.

Maaaybe not at first glance, but by episode 12 of The Light In Your Eyes, you’ll see the similarities. If I explain further, I’ll be at the risk of spoiling both.

-Both dramas tell heartwarming stories about the elderly.
-Both are relatively easy, lighthearted watches with substance that will make you think about the important things in life.
-Also Kim Hye Ja is wonderful in both of them.

Both dramas give u that nostalgic feeling when u watch, both drama hold the same feeling to them showing the passage of time and the importance of the relationships we create during our lives. Family plays an important role in both drama alongside with Friendship and neighbors in Northward. And you will probably cry while watching them, and u can learn many life lessons from both dramas if you watch them carefully and understand the deep meaning of their stories.

Dai renai touches on the Alzheimer's Disease topic as well though it explores more on the young onset reality

They both starts off happy and romantic but tearjerker at the end. Both have the concept of what if we are given the chance to reset the time and make things right. Most importantly, both are focused on the importance of family and life. I may be giving spoilers: I found their plot twist similar.

Heavenly Ever After because both dramas beautifully explore life, time, and emotions with a unique touch. In The Light in Your Eyes, the older ajumma and Han Ji Min played the older and younger versions of the same character. Though they didn’t share scenes, both gave powerful performances that deeply moved me. It’s so special to now see them together in Heavenly Ever After, and I can’t wait to watch their new dynamic!

Both JTBC dramas are directed by Kim Seok Yoon. Both dramas involve sibling and parent relationships, romance, the struggles of daily life, and finding happiness and meaning.

The phycological side & plot twist in the end
Sweet in the beginning, But dark in the end
In these aspects they are similer in my opinion

- both have the similar topic of Alzheimer’s disease and how it affects relationships both are very eye opening and have a warm but sad message

Both have a main character who is hallucinating/not really living the main story line throughout the drama. Both end in a way that is uncertain or not really clear cut endings. Both are almost sad in a way.
