An emotional movie!

This is a nice little movie you can watch whenever you're feeling down and are looking for something uncomplicated to watch. However do not expect much from it. Yet, Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In did a great job and their characters' feeling get though just fine. The chemistry between the two of them is incredible.
Regarding the storyline, nothing interesting happens, the timeline is managed very poorly and the writer wanted to make a big deal of some things rather small. They complicated things between the leads just so that the movie can last 2 hours.
I have no interest in watching it again, even though I truly love these two actors.

A Strange, but sweet, love story.

A strange love story between two people that are so different yet alike. A bad boy desperately trying to live a normal life who just can’t seem to escape his past. And a girl who seems to have very little self esteem but finds happiness in him. They are constantly pulled apart only to somehow find each other. This is the entire storyline. The story moves slow and doesn’t seem to go anywhere. This is one of those dramas that gives you a life story to digest. It’s somewhat interesting, is all I can say about it. There was some romance. A very unique and strange romance but still a sweet one. It has a happy ending and makes you feel good when its finished.

Kim Go Eun did a great job her portrayal of Mi Soo. She is such a versatile actress and she didn’t disappoint me in this one. Check this one out and tell me what you think.

Beautiful realistic love story

After I have been re-watching this movie several times, I can confidently say this is one of my favorite movies out there. It gives me exactly what I am looking for in movies: emotions, a bit of joy and a bit of sorrow.

Before getting into the review, I want to say that this movie is not for everyone. Some may say it is a bit slow paced or the actions are not thought through. But for me, the movie is well made and the actions are understandable, if you understand the characters.

Life does not always consist of happy moments and perfect timing, and this is what the movie shows us more than clearly. It tells the story of Mi Soo (Kim Go Eun) and Hyun Woo (Jung Hae In) who first meet on the day a popular radio show goes on air the first time with a new DJ. The radio show is brought up several times during the movie, which gives a even more special meaning to it. Personally, I really like this detail and the role of the radio show. There are several time skips in their story and the timing seems to be off so often, their partings seem to be so unintentional, as if bad luck was coming after them. Yet, their reunions feel even more like fate – just as their first meeting.

“Tune in for Love“ has its cute and happy moments, but it also has the sad ones. Nevertheless, it tells a beautiful realistic love story. Both actors have a great chemistry and portrayed their characters well. There are scenes between them that bring a smile in my face every time I watch this movie. The music is well chosen and fits the scenes perfectly.

I recommend watching this movie with some candles or fairy lights on, with hot tea or some hot chocolate. Get lost in the feelings it gives you and experience the movie with all it has to offer.
Personally, I love this movie and I will keep re-watching it. For me it is a must watch!

Touching, heartfelt love story set in the 90s.

To describe this movie as "so good" would be an an understatement. Jung Hae In and Kim Go Eun are very talented actors you can feel the genuine feelings of the characters they portrayed. It mainly talks about love and family. The movie is set in the 90s and the cinematography and the 90s streets and bakeries of Korea is very aesthetically pleasing including the bittersweet slow means of not-so-modern-yet means of communication. The story does not just revolve mainly on their love story. There is a background story behind Jung Hae In's character that is quite tragic but is essential to the story.

Beautiful movie

I started this movie because of the edits I saw on tiktok and it’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed at all!

The love story build up between the main characters is beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time. From their first kiss to their love confession, everything was just so beautiful.

I loved how angsty their love story is the most, there was so much unsurety between them but both of them knew that they liked each other, even that boss in the end could tell they loved each other so much…

I was going to be very mad if they didn’t end up together but thankfully their love won!!!

Beautiful story!!

If you like couples who communicate about their thoughts then this show isn't for you.

Kim Goeun and Jung Haein was breathtaking. I love how natural their acting is.

But.. Let's be honest if the cast wasnt that good, no one would've watch this movie.
The story is pretty meaningless, well okay yeah i loved how pure their love is but that's all. No communication (i know that was the main thing at first but then why don't have conversations like normal human beings?)
I really hated how the FL went to Taesung to learn everthing about ML. SHE COULDVE ASK AND TALK ABOUT IT ???????

Anyways the cinematography was great, music was capturing.

If you really have nothing to watch and want to watch smt. is not that serious, go for it.
But dont expect big things from this movie.

Charming and frustrating and lovely

Finally got around to watching this and I totally fell for the simplicity, tenderness, even the frustration, of this lovely drama, which starts in 1994 and then jumps in years as the story plays out.

Jung Hae-in is a top actor for sure and is like a chameleon, adapting to seemingly any role, with ease. I like how his character in this, refuses to be defined by a key moment in his youth.

The role of Min-soo fit Kim Go-eun like a glove, too. The character was mature, forthright, open and outspoken, which I loved. That balanced JHI's role, who was trying to bury a part of his past, which leads to him often shutting her out.

It really is like fate, the heavens and everything in-between, is trying to scupper their future together.

There are no ridiculously mean, cruel or bitchy characters in this film, which for me, made a welcome change. There is drama and life dishing out some really bad luck, but it feels very normal and more like real life.

Misplaced loyalties, dark shadows, guilt, acceptance and love is the journey.

The story is made by the cast though, for sure. Well worth a watch.

It's easy to judge problems with a perception from outside the relationship.

I generally don't see anything that isn't rated above 8.5, but I decided to give this movie a try and the reviews with low grades of it are probably from younger people, who don't understand what communication was like in the 90s, or the lack her.
Things in life always seem simpler when you're looking at it from the outside. Conflicts with a complicated solution, for us, it's nonsense, a lot of rubbish.
But in life, when you are living this, everything changes, everything is different and everything is complicated.
So if you're reading this, like me who researches reviews before watching something, don't mind reviews with low grades from people who don't understand this reality. I think older people in their 20s and 30s are going to love it.

i love the producers of this film

the chemistry between the two really amazed me, Jung Hae In's acting really stunned me. and yea... actress Kim Go Eun in this film made me continue to like it, i was very late in watching this film, bcz the release is still very far away, namely in 2019 and i just watching it now??? it's a shame that a film as good as this is, i'm only watching it now. i like every time they meet, every laugh they make in this film makes the audience fascinated and of course carried away by the atmosphere... omg, in terms of shooting, the color tones in this film are crazy. and interesting facts about this film include the song Fix You from Coldplay, that's what makes me love this film even more, crazy, idk how to express it, but this film is very beautiful. being set in the 90s will certainly give a slightly more authentic impression, if i may say thank you to the producers of this film, i will say that sentence rn. there are many lessons to be learned here, the various feelings i expressed when watching this film, made me sway here and there

Sad but touching story of two young people

I watched this for Jung Hae In. He is phenomenal in every single drama I’ve seen him so far from While You Were Sleeping to Something in the Rain to One Spring Night to Tune In For Love. He brought something different to each drama but he was probably the coolest in Something the Rain and the most dramatic in Tune In For Love. This movie was such a sad but touching story. I felt for him. I felt the emotions that he was feeling, especially when he was chasing after her. His tears, his sweat, his emotions pour out. Both lead actors were AMAZING. I cried so much throughout watching this movie.

The movie told me "not everything is supposed to be fine, it's okay" after a very cold day.

First and foremost, the plot was nothing out of the ordinary. I mean, there are several films that have the message "a couple's fate keeps pulling them apart." And I'd give it a six for that alone, but why did I give it an eight-star rating overall? The cast and their performances are flawless and incredible. I'm speechless! I don't think I've ever met another couple who could pull off what they just did! I'm not going to lie, I had to skip every ten seconds because I was getting bored watching the same damn thing over and over again in the movie. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the plot, it didn't stop me from crying. When Misu ran at the end and Coldplay's "Fix You" started playing, I didn't notice my eyes getting wet until tears began to fall. I'm not sure how to put it, but that scene felt like "It's okay, everything may not appear to be fine, but at least you got me." Props to Hae-in and Go-eun for doing the film justice!

It's not something I'd watch again, but if everything seems a little too cold and lonely, then maybe again.
