wasted potential
This drama had so much potential but it kept floundering. One scene reminded me of Flower of Evil. A storyline reminded me of a famous book/movie (won't reveal the name because that will give away the plot I'm referring to). So, yeah, there was potential to be something very interesting but I found myself rapidly losing interest.......only stayed till the end to see the lead couple's romance progression...lolI think this was one of the first things of Shin Ye Eun's that I watched. I find her utterly charming and cute. Looking forward to more of her.

Horrible direction, writing, and confusing segments take away from impecabble acting.
God, I wanted this drama to do better. I saw the ML on The Witch. And while that drama was even worse than this one, I instantly knew there was something special about the ML. His acting is just top tier. I really hope he finds a proper director and series to really establish himself as a leading star. From what I understand, he was a singer turned actor? Either way, he's the reason you'll be watching this show. The FL is also great, and you'll recognize her from her more recent breakout role in The Glory. There's also a little more well-known actress in a support role that will make most of you smile, too. But even these great actors can't fix the horrible directing and writing of the show. I'll keep it short. There's a scene where the ML leaves a car in front of the police station where the FL works. The next morning, it's still there after they have an argument. But during a flashback she has with the prosecutor that very afternoon, the car is gone, despite the next future scene having it there. It really kills the immersion cause they went out of their way to include it, but forgot to keep it in an important scene. There are numerous scenes like this where they simply forget the coherent timeline of their own story. So that's just one example. Then there's the difference between the ML and the FL, too. They are both the same age, yet the FL was able to go two years dropping out of high school and then becoming a low-ranking police officer. Meanwhile, the ML is dumb as ever. In the show, there is a clear distinction between their intelligence, and the FL is portrayed as having nearly similar intellect as the high-ranking support colleagues, who are much older. It makes absolutely no sense. Then there's the "powers" bit. Even in the show's intro scenes, he's established as some sort of super "hero" who has experience with those said powers. In reality, his powers are extremely weak, and often they aren't really useful. Pointing more towards riddles that involve more riddles until they get a clear picture. Now, for one, I'm glad they didn't make him more powerful or all-knowing. That would have killed the purpose, but to be honest, it really feels like his power and his progression to use them are almost nonsensical. To make it worse, they establish in the show that the key to making his powers grow is to get closer to the FL lead. But they purposely keep withholding physical contact until the 7th or 8th episode. Later, they almost drop this plot device entirely. In fact, by episode 14, the FL disregards one of his flashbacks because they didn't like the outcome. WTF??? Next is the authority figures. One old man simply sits at a desk in that police station I mentioned, and all he does is pluck his nose hairs. Later, he gets tasks with being the head of ALL investigations involved with the main cases. He becomes immediately "important" overnight and, of course, he disregards the ML's powers. The show just doesn't know how to have proper sequences, structures, and likeable characters. Speaking of likeable characters, they literally kill the most fan favorite character, the female detective. After her death, the show loses its identity.
There are about half a dozen or so more examples of what went wrong with this show, but I'll just leave it here. The show isn't terrible. It's just badly directed. Had it had better direction, the writing would have been a small hindrance to the overall quality. Anyhoo, I do think the show is worth watching if you enjoy the actors. Just keep your expectations in check.

It was great
A great drama to watch. The story line was great but it felt like things were moving in slow motion. With the last 3 episodes alluding to how it may have been Sung- Mo to it actually being Sung-Mo made it kind of feel like a drag. Though I may be a little biased in giving the storyline less then 10 because I’m still angry they made us love Sung- Mo for being a lifesaver then hate him for being the reason lives had to be saved. I wouldn’t rewatch it because after the fact this is probably my least favorite drama simply because when I finish one I usually go “What am I gonna do now? I don’t want it to be over”, but this drama made me wanna take a good nap and find something amazing to watch after. Was this review helpful to you?
Overall, this isn't your romance drama, it is a psychological thriller more so than a romance and I am not disappointed. Each character and the acting of the senior actors (Jeon Mi Seon and Lee Sung Joon) really complimented the rookie actors (Shin Yeeun and Park Jinyoung). I just felt that the plot was too jarring, the first half is a DRAMATIC contrast to the second half of the drama.
If you were like me, an ahgase who also watched A-teen, you will not be disappointed.

Grey areas of morality. A boatload of trauma & creepy. Alot of crying +Tragic twist
This was a huge disappointment. I really, really, REALLY wanted to like it.I would have avoided it altogether if the reviews had been more thorough!
Here's the key:
the genre.
There's only a tiny bit of romance & only a tiny bit of comedy, but heavy on the Suspense, Thriller, Mystery & investigation. And there is here ALOT of melodrama with so much crying. But mostly, there's a freakin boatload of trauma & creepy. I was hoping for something along the line of Strong woman Bong Soon, or Healer, ( both favorites) but This is less balanced with a tragic twist that ruined the series (for me). The surprise reveal is brilliant, totally unexpected & feels like a knife of betrayal being thrust into the viewer. At that point you simply continue in order to see it revealed for a lie, but no, it becomes a horrible truth. There's SO much back storying in this series. Explaining everyone's tragic history, [trying to squeeze sympathy from you] & it's exhausting. They want the viewer to see that people are not just all bad or all good, but wow! They really "push the envelope"! The end is incredibly disappointing as it tries to leave you on an upbeat/positive note.(Which isn't possible to achieve because of the horrific reveal of that 1 beloved main character). It gives resolution to all the character's stories but has a lame unsatisfying immature resolution to the romances.
Story was very well crafted & had alot of moral issues presented from various sides, which made you think (& be confronted with many grey areas of morality].
I'm a simple person; I want my good guys good. They can be flawed, but only if they are redeemable flaws. Characters who rape ,murder or torture can't be redeemed.
OST: unremarkable. they replayed the main theme too many times .
***Spoilers***
One of the 4 main characters will die. 2 of the "good guys" will be proven to be bad guys. 1 (of the 4)beloved main characters will been shown to have done something horrible, that cannot be fixed & heartbroken you will find yourself screaming : "NOOOO" at the TV screen !
****Heavy spoilers****
Big brother prosecutor is guilty of multiple murders
there's no coming back from that.
Main couple decide to live together at the end. Their dating is mostly implied (with a year of skipping ahead at the end) and for him to take her hands in his & just say :"let's live together" really isn't romantic.

For me the story was not developed well enough, especially in the first half. If I didn’t watch the ending and conclusion, I probably would give the story 6/10, but the ending was really satisfying and makes me understand their decision better regarding the first half, that’s why it gets 7.5/10. I still wish they develop the story better in the first half.
There were several issues that I really dislike that’s really prominent during the first half. One of them is the lack of psychometric used, I mean this is supposed to be a series about somebody with psychometric abilities, but he barely used it, like almost never. Yes it could be part of the development, but I don’t think that’s the best way to go about it. Another thing I really dislike is how incompetent the series make the police look, other than Eun Ji Soo and even she’s not that great. I also really dislike how stupid and immature they make Lee Anh character. I mean he’s supposed to be in his early twenties, victim of trauma and tragedy, but he’s literally made into a puppy, a stupid one at that.
Other than those really annoying things, the plot was great. I really the curve ball they threw by midway point, when they main plot start to really be revealed. I also love all the relationship between each characters, they are so entangled and complicated once they revealed what really happen in the past. Really love the ending, it’s so satisfying and rewarding, I wish they make a 2nd season because I want to see them all again in a better setting.
The cast for this show is great, they all acted their character perfectly. Kim Won as Kang Sung Mo stands out the most for me. He portray Sung Mo’s troubled character so well, he’s brotherly love to Lee Anh also come across so naturally but awkwardly, which is perfect. Park Jin Young as Lee Anh also portray the character well, I just wish they develop the character a bit more. Shin Ye Eun as Yoon Jae In was very lovable, her character is portrayed and developed very well. We could see the vulnerability but also the steel resolve she has. All the other casts are also great, even the supporting casts.
I love the music for the series. There are 3 songs that I have been keep playing in my list, ‘With You’ (by Promm), ‘Wake’ (by JUS2) and this is my favorite ’Shadows on the Wall’ (by Janet Suhh). I also really like how they always show what happens in 2005, when the fire happen in the apartment, in the first 5 minutes of a new episode. It keep on build up your knowledge on what happen in the past. I don’t think I will rewatch this series anytime soon, because once you know the twist the series lack anything interesting.

He's Psychometric
8/10 is my rating. This is a 2019 South Korean drama that has 16, 60 minute episodes. Lee Lee Ahn (Park Jin-young) is able to see past events by touching the person who experienced the events. He acquired this ability after losing his parents in an apartment fire. He fortuitously meets Yoon Jae-in (Shin Ye-eun) who is the daughter of the accused arsonist and Kang Sung-mo (Kim Kwon) who saved Ahn during the fire. Investigator Eun Ji-soo (Kim Da-som), is like an older sister to Ahn and is also a police investigator, The four team up to solve cases they feel are interrelated including the case that took many of their parents.Spoiler 🚨 Overall I liked the story and the romance was very believable. I was disappointed by some of the twists and unexpected aspects of some of the characters I had come to know. I felt like some things were unnecessary. Some would not have problems with the same - but I like happy and neatly tied up. It is very suspenseful and has a lot of surprising elements. The romance between the two leads is very heartwarming.

The best drama I’ve watched thus far!
I cannot rave about this drama enough. The storyline is heart wrenching and so exciting.
It kept me on my toes the entire time and everything was so well explained. No plot holes here!
Plus as a got7 fan I couldn’t get enough of jinyoungs fantastic acting here. If you haven’t seen this please watch it!!
I’ve got to say there should be a trigger warning as there are some tough topics discussed, so it’s a more mature watch. But regardless I could watch this again and be just as into it.

I enjoyed the drama, because the plot was brilliant, story twists were really well done and acting was really something, however I felt like romance was totally unnecessary here. I didn't like the romantic part at all, it seriously got on my nerves and did nothing more than this. Don't get me wrong, I 'm a fan of rom and rom-coms on daily basis, just when I was watching this show, romance bothered me to this extent that at some point I actually stopped watching it and recently came back to this just because I was curious about the plot.

Honestly I would say, one of the most underrated K-Dramas I know. I honestly thought, it was pretty good because it had so much, like fantasy, thriller, crime, romance , psycho, law and so much more. There was so much depth behind all their stories and like some wtf -moments, for example when we found out, that Kim Sungmo and his mother were kidnapped and she was r*ped there, so he grew up in a basement. Also the perpetrator was so sick and his story as well, as being kidnapped and being selled too. Like the whole story were so psycho, and even Lee Ahn whose parents died in the fire and all the murder which happend in such a cruel way. I don't know if some people really grabed the story.
Also the actors were kind of great and i don't know but I think, Park Jinyoung is one of the greatest idol actors out there, like he proved that some idols can really act. I think, he is really good in acting with his eyes and even now I would count him as a real actor. I mean, he is still growing but for his first drama, where he was playing the main role, it was really good.
My only problem was that it was only really thrilling at the second half of the story. In the beginning it was often very lengthy and sometimes it was taking too long to go through a episode. But nevertheless I liked it, also the idea behind it, that someone has psychmetric powers.
The OST's were good, I liked "Take" by JUS2 very much.

a very honest review from a babybird
honestly i only watched it because of jinyoung.without any biased opinion, the first quarter of the drama's episodes are quite boring for me because im more into light-hearted drama type of person. So if we're the same type, i suggest you to not give up! keep watching!
I must say, the writer is clever, i actually planned to drop it if i cannot stand it anymore even though PARK JINYOUNG is in it but i keep forcing myself, let's just watch it for the sake of jinyoung and then there's this one point of the drama that makes it more intriguing so i cannot help but keep watching it, and THAT is why i said the writer is clever.
And the plot twist, not even lying here but half of my life watching kdramas and among all the kdramas that I've watched THIS drama definitely have the biggest plot twist ever, not even top 10 but top 5 dramas that i've watched that made me really really astounded. Once again, big clap for the writer.

Are You Ready 2 Feel 10000 Emotions At Once ?
DISCLAIMER - THIS REVIEW INCLUDES SPOILERS!STORY -
The story was amazing, it was very well thought of & very powerful. It made me feel lots of emotions and surprised me with a lot of conflicts & a dash of romance. There was a great backstory to this, the flashbacks hit me. The connections between the lead characters & their families all fit in well. This drama didn't leave me with any questions, it answered everything. I loved everything about the storyline.
ACTING -
Damn, where do I start ? The acting was the best thing about this drama. You felt sad, happy, angry, terrified and loved throughout He is Psychometric. The actors played their roles to a Tea. The romance between Lee Ahn & Jae In was so cute, their chemistry & bond together really brought out the best in them, they did go through a rough patch but it ended up getting fixed very fast. Kim So-Hyun & Lee Dae-Bong was rocky at first since she never wanted his help but it got better towards the end. The love that Eun Ji-Soo had for Kang Sung-Mo was pure, she wanted nothing but the best for him. Lastly, the bromance & sisterhood between these actors in this drama was the sweetest bond ever, You could tell that they all loved each other very much & cherished one another.
MUSIC -
I didn't understand most of the music so I can't really judge it but I would say it was very good. Other than the music, the sound effects were FREAKING AMAZING. You legit got chills from the suspense. Overall, I loved it!
REWATCH -
I actually have seen this show twice so yes I would rate this a 10 considering I watch it 3 times now.
PROS -
I loved mostly everything from the start to the very end. It filled me with joy, I enjoyed the romance, the bromance, the sisterhood, the connections between characters, the settings, the suspense etc. Overall I have no major complaints.
CONS -
I honestly don't have any, just questions.
QUESTIONS -
Why did the last few minutes of episode 16 have to end like that?
Why did she have to die? I understand but that made me cry non stop. I wish she didn't die.
Why did Kang Sung-Mo have to be the killer? I wish he wasn't because I also felt betrayed although I understand why.
Is there a season 2?
