The infamous scene!

No matter which drama version (Korean, Taiwanese, or this one), this scene never fails for me. It's easily tear-jerking, heart-wrenching moment. It guts me always. I just finished this episode today and it killed me. Jianxin, Jianxin, Jianxin... I want to hug you and strangle you at the same time. You're not actually helping but made all 3 of you fools with your nonsensical intervention. Duhh this drama!

I just don't know what to say. It was too dumb. T

There is so much I want to blame Jiaxian for, she is not relatable at all, but I do understand how her mind works. However, it really makes me mad. Everybody tells her how much they like her, but she still would not grew a pinch of confidence. What I actually don't understand was how she thought it was a good idea to act like Anna's dietician. No matter, how I look at it, it comes of as incredibly sneaky, too. For a character, that feels so guilty for everything, I would've expected her to think and empathize more, and to not be aware of her actually acting selfish instead. I just don't understand, how often Xiyi has to tell her, that he broke up with Anna and that she is the one that he chose, for her to finally believe it. Because she never did believe him is why Anna could fed into her anxiety and self-consciousness. Finally came the moment where I stopped feeling sorry for Anna, I still think she initially did nothing wrong, and that she was treated extremely unfairly by both of them, but really ... I just cannot stress enough that if your bf not only cheats on you but gets someone pregnant and marries them and then partially blames you for the whole situation in your break up??? LEAVE. Xiyi is not actually a bad person, but he really treated her badly, so that's enough reason to leave his cheating ass. There really is no point in holding on to someone like that. For Xiyi, I sometimes just don't know how his mind works. Honestly. I like that in this version he actually is very decisive compared to the Taiwanese and Korean ones, but boy .... he is really bad at setting boundaries. How did he think it was a good idea to let Anna kiss him on the cheek and throw him a belated b-day party, after she went completely nuts? It was so obvious that it was an act. Which woman with a sane mind and without any ulterior motives would try to be friends after being dumbed like that? Why get drunk with her? To the point that he can't get himself home alone? And what's with the lawyer refusing to nullify the divorce agreement? what kinda bullshit is that??? I'm rolling my eyes so hard I can see my brain. When he ran after her, he should've just said "I don't ever want to divorce you", that would've de-escalated the situation immediately, because there is no room for misunderstanding. And why would Jiaxian even believe Xiyi would break up with her in that manner? he was two-timing Anna for months because he thought he had to do it face to face.I do think their relationship still needed a lot of work, especially for marriage, but just because both of them were so dumb is that Anna's plan even worked.
