So far, it isn't good at all, kind of choppy. William Chan is too expressionless (hate that! Like an empty shell), Yang Mi acting is the exact same of Bai Qian/Fu Yao, KaiCheng anger for dead wife is overboard. So, nothing hold my interest here. Some say watch it till ep 8-14 that might change my opinion, I'll heed that, so far action is good though.
100% agree. It takes a certain type of actor and charisma to pull off the stoic, cold type without coming across as expresionless like William (he was exactly the same in Lost love in Time). And Yang Mi, despite being super popular (and she is a decent actress) plays the exact same role in every historical drama. That shifu love is boring now.

Agree! The cinematography is amazing. I understand some fans just want a sweet and quick romance drama, but this is more than that. I like how the story was unfolded layer by layer. Reminded me of the Joy of Life, but luckily not that dark.
