Because of spies at Huangquan Pass, no intel on where the Huku army is gathering is able to get through to the battalion. Hai Shi goes in search of the Huku army and is unknowingly aided by a spy. She maneuvers around a trap, sends word to the Huangquan battalion that the Huku are launching a surprise attack, and heads to Qilin to summon aid. In the south, Fang Zhu prepares for battle.
