it is good
we got 3 headstrong FL's and each one is awesome i swear i lowkey wish this was GL because the girls understand each other even when they are against each other. Heck when Cha Hyun / "Scarlett"(Lee Da Hee) , Bae Ta Mi / "Tammy" (Im Soo Jung in)and Song Ga Kyung (Jeon Hye Jin) are on screen together they make my heart flutter. i may have wished for it to be GL but i don't mind the straight path either but i didn't like the ML's except for the male character Seol Ji Hwan (Lee Jae Wook) honestly he was cute the other 2 made me feel like they FL's should have just broke up with them and never makeup back honestly like it would have been better for them to split than to be together and cause harm to each other. Don't get me wrong i don't hate the actors, Park Morgan(Jang Ki Yong ) and Oh Jin Woo(Ji Seung Hyun), i hate the character like really why can't Park Morgan(Jang Ki Yong ) be in a relationship without having to be married like i get at the end everything worked out but we all know these type of relationship where one wants to marry and one doesn't want to marry will eventually lead to a dead end of the relationship or either one is gonna have to cave this is why i like the FL Bae Ta Mi / "Tammy" (Im Soo Jung in) her character has her head screwed on properly cause she knows there is an end to their relationship and she knows the cause too. i didn't like this ship they stretched the problem too long so i kind of give up on FL Bae Ta Mi / "Tammy" and Park Morgan ship. the other ML that i don't like Oh Jin Woo(Ji Seung Hyun) man this dude took too long to help his wife out like really he couldn't stand up to his mother. Like he could have stopped Song Ga Kyung (Jeon Hye Jin) from taking the crooked path if he had just left with her when her family had become bankrupt it would have been better. Song Ga Kyung (Jeon Hye Jin) did everything that a perfect daughter and daughter-in-law need to do but by doing so she abandon herself which made me sad the girl literally became her mother in law minion and a sacrificial pawn to her parents to help them out. i truly felt bad for her. although i'm criticizing this show it doesn't mean the character ships didn't make my heart flutter they did but to be honest Cha Hyun / "Scarlett"(Lee Da Hee) and Seol Ji Hwan (Lee Jae Wook) ship made my heart flutter more like these 2 are were the only nontoxic ship in this whole drama that was wholesome to me. In the end, the show as a whole wasn't so bad i like it.Was this review helpful to you?

Where do relationships evolve over time?
I really liked the female lead characters in the series. I also liked the men who were their partners. There was a somewhat serious relationship between the leads, and it portrayed how people's thought patterns influence their relationships and their effects. I think it was very well done in that regard. I appreciated how it conveyed a serious concept without being indirect, showing the arguments between people. I don't think many people would enjoy it, but a thirty-eight-year-old woman should, of course, have certain thought patterns about marriage by that age. And breaking those patterns must be very difficult. It's the same for a twenty-eight-year-old. Especially for someone who wants to get married at twenty-eight, they will likely still want it ten years later, when one person is thirty-eight and the other is forty-eight, and they will struggle with it. This situation brings about the issue of one person's desires being fulfilled while the other's are not. If they do get married, it won't be a relationship that the woman enjoys much, and if they don't, the man won't be too happy. So, we can conclude that finding a middle ground is the most important thing in relationships.Aside from that, the love between the secondary lead characters was very sincere. I found it very cute how they were torn between admiration and love. The woman fell in love in such a sweet way. At first, she thought it was just admiration, but it wasn't. Seeing this unfold and how the guy was also thinking the same things was really heartwarming. His innocence and his lack of interest in things like phones were very funny and entertaining. On the other hand, the third character, the short-haired woman named Ga Gyong, was a bit overwhelming, but she was good. Her mother-in-law was so annoying that it was impossible not to get angry while watching. If you agree with me, feel free to leave your comments too.

Very Nice! Worth the Watch.
I enjoyed this series. ML and FL were both strong and the storyline was nice in how it weaved both work and personal dynamics together. The war between companies reminded me of the old Google/Yahoo/AOL days :) which made it not only relatable but even more interesting. The behind-the-scenes deals trying to skew the big picture seemed more plausible than forced. I can understand the hesitation of the FL towards the ML to a point however the lack of communication skills towards the ML was lacking which caused conflict with the character balance of the FL. The support cast was solid. Showing the female relationship dynamic of smart and capable women was nice. The OST was very good. This is worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?

It could've been better, really...
I came across this series expecting that since it started off really strong with Bae Tami and Morgan's romance but ended up feeling a bit dull 😕. Honestly, what surprised me and really kept me hooked was Scarlett and Ji Hwan! I’m so glad they were added to the plot, or I probably would’ve dropped the show halfway through. Jaewook’s first appearance around episode 7 was a turning point for me, and that’s when I got back into it.The storyline around K-style Google-slice-of-life was okay but not super impressive imo.
I had pretty high expectations based on the reviews I heard, but in the end, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. It was a bit underwhelming overall.

Different from the usual.
The premise is interesting, how the lives of three very different women intertwines as they navigate life's challenges. The production is slick and the music is really good. Sadly the dialogue, acting, love story, melodramatics etc are pretty standard fare for kdrama. They took an interesting premise and then chickened out by making a safe, formulaic show.Despite this, two things stood out for me. I'm absolutely projecting and over-thinking this, because I was bored, but stick around anyway and see what you think.
I recently watched Aema and I noted that the unsung hero was the sound design. In WWW it's the stylists that were outstanding - especially Bae Ta Mi's looks and Chairman Jang. Clean, modern, tasteful. Not the usual ruffles and glitter clown fashion you see in most Korean productions. And its clearly thought through and intentional because the ruffles and sequins and stripper heels are still present on other characters but not these two. The styling absolutely is part of the story telling. I loved that.
What's even more interesting is the styling and make-up for Cha Hyeon. In fact Cha Hyeon is quite interesting and Lee Da Hee put in a lot of work to give her character depth. I would go so far as to say, Lee Da Hee stole the show. She's such a good actor.
First there's the transformation - Cha Hyeon goes from average teenager to absolutely stunning adult. Nobody talks about it, it's not a part of the storyline, but every viewer is going to notice the mismatch between teenage Hyeon and adult Hyeon and assume it must be poor casting. Yet to me it seems like Da Hee somehow incorporates this late blossoming transformation into Cha Hyeon's character. As an incredibly beautiful woman in real life she is able to extend past her own lifetime pretty privilege to portray a woman who suddenly got pretty and isn't used to having pretty privilege at all. And as an actor she didn't make a ham of it, she does it subtly. Hyeon's insecurities, her admiration for other pretty women (as opposed to seeing them as competition) her physical boorishness from having been an average looking girl but a sporty and athletic one, all makes sense. And then we factor in clothes and makeup. Her clothes are not flawlessly stylish. She has some looks she pulls off, others that completely miss. Again like la person who didn't go through her teenage focussed on looks and fashion. And her makeup is slightly overdone. Its a little vampy, a little drag-Queen-esque: overly vibrant lipsticks, a bit too heavy eye makeup. Not comical, not really remarkable but fits with her character backstory.
In conclusion, like I said, I probably over thought all of this. I don't know if the writer and director put so much effort and thought into constructing the character of a second lead. But it's the story I projected onto the show which otherwise I found predictable. Especially the.. yawn.. lead couples romance arc. Zzzz. Everytime they were both on screen I skipped forward.
Oh a couple of cool things though. The big big BIG boss is a foreigner and they cast a black lady. This has got to be a first in Asian dramaland. And Chairman Jang, the elderly matriarch of KU group - damn, she has style. Not just her clothes which are wow, but her whole aura. She's not a sympathetic character but the actor fills the character's boots and then some. And lastly the Brian character has a very nice singing voice. That was fun.
Conclusion? Thanks for indulging in my little fantasy projection. Do watch the show, it will entertain you.

Search Romance
The show had two lines of story. One is the Romantic Side and the Office/Work/Goal.The latter was much better. Romantic story was super boring. Usually when the two main leads on the screen those are best scenes to watch. In this show it is the opposite. When the two leads are on the screen the dialog, story line, etc was super boring. To make it worse the pace of the story significantly slows down when these two on the screen, so worst scenes are prolonged and makes the show even worse.
The other story was fun and enjoyable. Cinematography was good.

Well ... It Was Definitely A Show
I will advise anyone reading this review to grab a snack and something to drink because you’re in for a ride. This is a long review, my friends, because I have a LOT to say. So, buckle up!First things first, I started writing this review as I was finishing up episode 8 and I just wanted to get my initial thoughts out before I forget them. Obviously, this may end up being a very long review by the time I finish watching this series but we’ll see. Who knows what may happen between now and then? Aside from that, I just want to let it be known that the first few episodes of this series will lead you to believe that it’s good. Spoiler Alert: this drama/series is NOT good. Not at all. The feuding websites storyline became redundant and boring pretty quickly in the series. It wasn’t an interesting enough concept to center an entire show around. However, if you’re here for that aspect of this series, then you might enjoy it. If you’re here for the romance aspect (much like I was), then you’re not going to enjoy this series.
The most important thing to come out of watching this series is the fact that I have NEVER watched a drama where I disliked/despised all the major players. When I say this, I imagine that the people reading this are suspicious of this claim, but I am completely serious about that. It’s not an exaggeration. I have never watched a singular drama in my LIFE (whether it’s an Asian drama or a Western drama) where I found it difficult to root for any of the main characters. All these characters were the worst, at least when it comes to the main characters, that is. I found the supporting characters to be more interesting and to have far more redeemable qualities in contrast to their lead counterparts.
As someone who is more accustomed to watching Western dramas that are marketed as ‘women’s unity/women’s empowerment,’ I find this drama to be very surface level when it comes to illustrating that concept. This depiction of unity between women is completely and utterly empty. It was as deep as a puddle. I know it’s not a common theme in a lot of Asian dramas overall, and I kind of wished they wouldn’t have marketed it as such because it was lackluster. The premise is decent in theory, but terrible in execution. At least in this market. Sorry not sorry! This drama appears to be written by someone who has a very very slight idea of feminism and feminist concepts but they don’t know much else about it and it showed.
First and foremost, the relationship between Ga Kyung (Sunbae) and Ta Mi was the cause of a lot of gritted teeth and eye rolls. I’ve never hated a female relationship dynamic as much as I hated theirs. Sunbae is a coward who allowed her arranged husband’s mother to control her life and Ta Mi is a coward who allowed the woman who’s shown her time and time again that she cares more about her own selfish, self-serving interests than she is about preserving their friendship. Both women suffered from a lack of backbone when it mattered. They had no issues retaliating against those they deemed ‘weaker’ than them but they were too cowardly to stand up to the people they truly needed to stand up to, and that persistent plot point is why I can’t, in all honesty, rate this drama as high as other people would. If you’re going to walk around like you’re a Girl Boss, then you can’t pick and choose when to embody that persona. You must embody that energy the ENTIRE time and that just didn’t happen. When I started laughing every time Sunbae would get metaphorically smacked and put in her place by her mother-in-law, that’s when I KNEW the drama failed to hit the mark of whatever point they were trying to make. Cha Hyeon (Scarlett) & Ta Mi were loyal to Ga Kyung to their detriment and Ga Kyung was loyal to her master, I mean her mother-in-law. What a waste of space that one. I found myself waiting for one (or both) of them to give that woman the smackdown she deserved for far too long and it never came.
Also, the only saving grace for Ta Mi is her willingness to buck the system and stick to her guns when it came to marriage and children. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a female lead in an Asian drama expressly admit that she’s not interested in the traditional, conventional lifestyle much of society wants to pigeonhole women into. I can and will give her kudos for that point and ONLY that point. With that being said (and I hate to say this as a resident noona romance stan), Ta Mi and Park Morgan’s relationship should NOT exist. I repeat - Ta Mi and Park Morgan’s relationship should not exist in ANY capacity. Being platonic friends? Yes, that’s fine. Being romantic partners? No! I’m going to get up on my soapbox now, but their relationship is the primary reason why I don’t see the point in large age gaps in romantic relationships in real life. Their issues were incredibly realistic if you view it from that perspective. At the end of the day, Ta Mi is older and she’s more set in her ways and it’s obvious that she’s not changing her mind about marriage/children. Park Morgan is young, and it makes sense why he wants something different from his long-term partner. Neither one of them are wrong, but they are wrong for EACH OTHER. They do not want the same things out of life; they are incompatible. Once I saw that, I was not interested in their happy ending. I was not invested anymore. Prior to that, I didn’t like Ta Mi as an individual character and I thought Park Morgan was weird so I wasn’t attached to their dynamic anyway. Someone else said it in their review but it bears repeating – whenever one person in a relationship compromises (re: sacrifices) on their desire for something as major as wanting children or getting married, they will grow to resent their partner. The relationship will ultimately crash and burn because they are inherently wrong for each other. I started skipping through their scenes around episode 8, I think?
Scarlett and her romance with Ji Hwan were the shining stars of this series, if you’re looking for the romance. Her romance made her more enjoyable to watch. She became a LOT more likable when her individual storyline began steering her away from the push and pull B.S. between Ga Kyung & Ta Mi. The more the writers distanced her from that nonsense, the more palatable and tolerable she became. She became less annoying. Her romance was pretty adorable and almost like puppy love, in a way. It was refreshing to watch, honestly. But also, don’t be mistaken – Just because I enjoyed Scarlett a lot more than the other two doesn’t mean she was my favorite by a long shot. I still feel as if there was more they needed to do with her characterization and character development and we really didn’t get to see that. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be her. But again, that’s not saying much because the other female leads either weren’t likable (Ga Kyung) or interesting (Ta Mi) at all. If she were in a series with other leads that were actually endearing to the audience, she would fall short.
Sidenote: I also need to make sure I make this one point crystal clear - I thoroughly enjoy morally grey female characters when written well and when acted well. Ga Kyung wasn't charismatic enough to pull it off. Nothing about her performance made you feel sympathetic for her and her plight. The only way morally grey characters can exist on that very edge of a switchblade between being utterly irredeemable and still quite palatable is if they've been humanized via the writing AND the actor's performance. It has to be both; it can't be either/or because it won't work otherwise and it definitely didn't work here. I didn't care about Ga Kyung. I didn't care about any of the bad luck she continued to have. I just didn't care!
Strangely enough, I do have to give the writers credit for Ga Kyung’s relationship with her husband. There was something about him that I enjoyed when he came on-screen. I don’t know what it is, but I DO know that I believed him to be way too good for his wife. He was just as morally grey as she was and they clearly could have been a joint force to be reckoned with against his mother, but I guess the writers weren’t interested in going in that direction. But that’s also another reason I believe this series was written by someone with very little knowledge of feminism. There was no reason for Ga Kyung and her husband to get a divorce for her to achieve her dreams. She could have still chosen herself while being married. She could have stepped down from her role and tried to make it work with her husband while doing what she pleased. It’s not either/or, she could have had both! Any man that sees all the ugly parts of someone like her and still wants to be with her is clearly a man that is worth fighting for. He knew who he married and he still wanted to be around. Sunbae was a cutthroat, conniving, and deceitful woman for much of the series, and that did not chase her husband away.
This series also marked ANOTHER first of mine – fast forwarding through scenes just to get to the end. I’ve NEVER done that before and I did it with this series! I’m so disappointed in what this series could have been; I find that a LOT of these dramas fall under that umbrella of ‘amazing potential/premise, weak execution.’ I’m usually a Cdrama fan but I randomly decided to go back and try again with the Kdramas and it was .. interesting. Also, the guy that plays Ji Hwan played the SML in “Extraordinary You” and I hated his character’s GUTS in that role. So, it was nice to see him play the role of a nice guy for once and I found myself enjoying his scenes. He’s not a bad actor, so I can give him credit for that. I’m a sucker for those adorably sweet, green flag male characters and he gave me that, so that was pleasantly surprising. For his fans (which I know there’s a lot of you), you will have to wait until episode 7 before he’s prominently featured in the series though so be prepared for that.
In conclusion, this series has no rewatch value whatsoever. This series dragged and it definitely didn’t have enough material for 16 episodes. You will walk away from this series feeling underwhelmed because it falls on the overrated side of things when it comes to fan reception. At least when it comes to the ratings on this website, which are always pretty skewed as we all know. I only started this series because I’ve been on the hunt to find more noona romances and I’d come across this one quite a bit during my research so I decided to give it a shot and here we are. Would I recommend it? No. Will I rewatch it? Also, no.

I absolutely loved this drama. A hidden gem that deserves much more recognition than it does. I expected to love it but not this much and I appreciated the strength of all the women in this drama. It was a very women-driven drama and I barely skipped anything while watching.THE STORY
Unexpected, breathtaking and badass. It told the story of three women kicking butt and overcoming their own problems and societal expectations. Talking about the corporate warfare that was happening between Barro and Unicorn, it was very well-paced and had just the amount of spice it needed. There were almost no plot holes and I appreciated the very different setting than I'm used to. It was interesting to get a bit of a look at the background of search engines and I found out quite a lot about them. The story took a quite mature-thinking theme and it really made me reflect on my values and their importance in relationships, career, future and success.
Now for the three women, TaMi, Hyeon and Ga Kyung. I liked the flashbacks and their backstories- and how they became friends in the past. The broken bonds between them were heartbreaking and it's fair to say that Hyeon and TaMi would not be where they are today in their friendship if not for Ga Kyung. Ga Kyung was villainous so much in this drama but you could also sympathize with her background. I like how the plot was primarily led by the development in their three characters and how friendship, the past and work all come together.
For the romances:
1. TaMi and Morgan were hard to watch, honestly. In a good and bad way. Their story was painfully realistic and I actually had to ask myself if I was really watching a Kdrama the entire time I saw their dynamics. Many people will say they were a boring couple but I'd have to disagree. It's true that some of TaMi's most frustrating moments were with Morgan but I liked how he made her think about her values and what letting another person into your life really meant. My heart broke every time they broke up and they had a very different dynamic from the typical kdrama couples I've seen. They were passionate but often stuck in a middle ground because of their differing values. To say their ending made me completely happy would be a lie- I don't like how they're still stuck in a loop- but it's realistic and it's them. Not all romances have that typical "happy ending" and many will be complicated like theirs. I'm appreciative that their story was able to be told. Their relationship kept making me think about my values and if I could compromise as much as Morgan does for love. Note: Morgan's lines are so smooth like I swooned so much.
2. Hyeon and Ji Hwan. Honestly. This couple gave me life in this drama and was a breath of fresh air. Their meeting was so appropriate and I found myself smiling like an idiot each time they were together. Still, my heart broke each time they had to come to the end of each of their meetings and questioned their feelings- if it was just Hyeon being "a fan" or more. It was nice seeing Hyeon falling for Ji Hwan without realizing and having a different side than what we usually saw and it was so cute watching Ji Hwan be hyper-aware of his feelings and unsure if Hyeon felt the same. If Morgan and TaMi were the mature couple, these two were like a whole "first love wholesome" couple that was a good contrast to the main couple. Honestly, their chemistry was amazing! Note: Ji Hwan's lines when he was "acting" with Hyeon and his confession were so smooth too (why are the men such smooth talkers).
3. I'll take the time to also mention Ga Kyung and Jin Woo. They had a sad romance, for Jin Woo to be one-sidedly in love and already preparing for their divorce before Ga Kyung even brought it up. He loved her wholeheartedly but was guilty about his family caging her. He loved her enough to let her go and respect her wishes to not even contact her when she wanted to disappear. And how Ga Kyung realized all this and came to care for him, but realized she had to find herself first. They have a bit of an open ending- and it was fitting for their characters.
THE CAST
I think everyone was perfectly cast in this drama. Honestly, I first came to watch it because I found Da Hee was going to be in it, and then saw videos of her chemistry with a current new favourite actor of mine, Jae Wook. Knowing two of my faves were going to be in a drama together and as love interests really pushed me to watch and I was not disappointed. Honestly, I think they had the most chemistry as a couple in the whole series. I personally hope Jae Wook gets more dramas! Also Da Hee always plays badass women and this time her portrayal was perfect and I could never imagine anyone different. Soo Jung and Ki Young did very well as the main couple, and the scenes were executed almost perfectly. My only criticism is that there were times when Ki Young seemed like he was "acting" rather than "being" Morgan and there were a few blank faces.
MUSIC
I cannot stress enough how much I loved the music. From the background music to the OSTs- they set the mood perfectly. I loved the main OST so much with the breathy tones. And the game song- it's what brought the main couple together at first and it played when they found each other again at the end. Beautiful and satisfying, this drama has to have one of the best soundtracks I've heard.
REWATCH VALUE
As much as I'd want to watch it again, I'd have to wait a little to let my feelings settle. It left me thinking, and is a drama I'd rewatch for thought-provoking conversations. It's a bit on the heavy and mature side but has a general good balance to give a bit of a dramatic "slice of life" feel. I'd for sure watch again though because the story was amazing.
CONCLUSION
Overall, the story was very character-driven, mature, faced societal issues and thought-provoking, which I really appreciated. The character growth was a journey that I'd definitely watch again. I love how the plot and ending wasn't rushed at all- all couples ended in a place fitting for them and the corporate warfare set a good and satisfying end. I appreciate the writer for taking their time with the plots and connecting everything together so well. Also, the camera work and lighting PLEASE. It was beautiful. Whomever designed the storyboard- I need to learn from them. The scenes were perfect and the lighting and the camera angles really set the scene. They used a lot of unique angles that helped elevate a lot of the emotions of each of the characters and I loved it all. THE ENDING. I lived for the ending and thought it was a perfect way to end with a hearing (which also started the drama) and the three girls riding off to the sunset with the OST. It was a women-driven show and ended with strong women. I cannot speak enough how much I loved the whole show. I think the realism really set everything for me and twists up to the very end had me shook. That last twist I'm still getting over!! Also, loving how the title ties in all at the end! I NEED MORE!!
PS. Ji Hwan and Hyeon need their own series pls and thank you

This would be audacious, if not unthinkable, from any major entertainment industry in the world. And Search WWW knows it, takes pleasure in it, and forces you to think about these role reversals -- all while running a very successful romantic comedy slash workplace drama plot to keep the show moving. Meanwhile, music, clothes, side-plots, supporting characters: everything and everyone comes together to create an array of delightful things to enjoy and relish. The romantic plots never feel relegated to a sideshow, but that's another of the show's successes: you care deeply about each of the (adorable!) men the women become entangled with, yet these relationships never take precedence over the women's own doubts and desires.
I don't think Search WWW is perfect; its pacing is a problem and in spite of its strong writing, I do think it relied too much on great set-pieces, rather than overall dramatic integrity. But in total fairness, it established from the very beginning that it wanted to draw your attention to how its three women protagonists pull off completely breathtaking feats of professional excellence even while they're struggling to achieve some kind of balance in their personal lives and their relationships with each other: and we got that, all the way to the triumphant end.
I've never seen a show that makes me want to smile in delight just thinking about its premise before, but Search WWW was that. I'd recommend it to any single human being with a heart in this world. Big kudos to the actors who made us want to root for them even at their lowest and most conflicted; and all props to the writers who decided to pull off this totally improbable show, and then did it.

Female protagonism at its finest
I don't even know about which aspect should I begin to describe this drama. But it was one of the best surprises I've ever had in all the dramas I've watched, and ended up becoming one of my favorites. The female protagonists are intelligent, strategists, there is no female rivalry because of any love interest but because of business. The character's personalities are complex and there aren't many exaggerated conflicts, just the result of people who have high burdens and great responsibilities (their work involves search engines and the influence that this has on the lives of the vast majority of people).
The protagonist's love life is in second place in her head, she's very afraid of getting hurt at her age, but the romance is very present in the drama (some people who value romance above all else may end up giving drama lower ratings for the protagonist's excessive independence. I love romance but I have to be fair about how excellent this drama is). There is a lot of skinship, the male protagonist doesn't seem weak but at the same time does everything for the female protagonist, which seems an almost impossible balance to make and look convincing. But he does it very well. He is notoriously more sensitive, but he knows what he's doing at his amorous advances. He also has his own life's individual problems to solve, and the couple reconcile their relationship in a realistic way.
The first time I watched it I was really perplexed by the many taboos that are broken in relation to traditional kdramas. In addition to the absolute female protagonism, there are some situations where bisexual or lesbian characters are insinuated, which rarely exists in a drama that is not focused solely on that.
My favorite character is undoubtedly Scarlett, I have a soft spot for female fighters and she has a lot of anger stored up to take it out on who she deserves, hahaha.
