Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Episode 1

beautiful new first act in sailor moon herstory

overall i enjoyed this revamped first act. usagi & her family , especially her mother's relationship dynamic is so much cuter without her having to discipline usagi all the time. the shining part is all the very subtle changes like her punishment for tardiness which shows how great of a friend naru is. i really adore the modernization too, it's fun seeing usagi karaoke her favorite pop star. there are many scenes like the ending monologue or the opening with so many fun & beautiful glimpses of the future senshi unit. the actual story beats & how things play out i wouldn't change , however i think dialogue & acting + scene flow needed refining. also i do not give af about the terrible visual effects those people were working with what they got , like i do think it could've been better as this is sailor moon , someone needs to open their fucking wallet , but it's not enough for me to ever deduct or be taken out by.
