In HIStory: Obsessed...there are two storylines playing out here...one like a dream for both characters who lose each other, the other like present day where one character holds his memories after a near death incident and the other having no idea about the other person until some drawings come into his possession that give him cause to seek out the other. The one character can't stand that he loves the other, and he wants to do his best to keep away from him, as he remembers what caused him to almost lose his life, yet the attraction can't be fought.
The trauma of death, rejection and heartbreak. The realization of love and overpowering emotions. There is mental health, insecurity issues, grief, sexual harassment and deception emcompassed within drama.

some actors namely Tong Thanayut Thakoonauttaya, Mawin Tanawin Duangnate and Run Kantheephop Sirorattanaphanit who play a role in 'second chance the series' have also played in 'tharntype the series'.

In both the dramas, the main couple consists of a confident gay who falls in love with someone who does not know he can be attracted to men. The first guy is so caring towards the other one other one that the other one eventually falls in love, too.
Both series have sexy scenes and the main leads have good chemistry.

I am getting some old school tharntype vides from the first few episodes where one of them is more forceful and the other is confused.

Both are student focused dramas about maturing and learning about your sexuality.

These are definitely emotional and beautiful stories! Must watches! I will be rewatching them in the years to come. Beautiful love connections within the actors so definitely looking forward to further projects of theirs

Both ML have similar childhood traumas
Tharn was scared of gays while Sailom is scared of physcial touch.

- One guy doesn’t really like the other much at the start (will go as far to say, one hated the other)
- Enemies to lovers
- TharnType is very questionable though, depending on your moral code (ie. sexual assault)

In both shows the leads are socially awkward outcasts. They also idolize their popular love interest.

Similarities:

- BUTS & TT are both university and sports themed
- Each has a rich ML
- One of the ML's are trying to find out who they are
- Starts our with FWB (Friends with Benefits)

Differences:

- BUTS is swimming themed while TT is soccer themed
- BUTS is more sports based while TT is more university life
- BUTS has an age difference while TT is same year
- TT is more based on one couple while BUTS has multiple

The chemistry and the love!! And the slowly growing is similar plus the feelfull love scenes which is too much lovely to handle!!! I LOVE BOTH SERIES

not much similarities apart from the fact that they are both bl shows with handsome MLS but both shows gave me the same feeling and I feel like if you like one of them, you'd also like watching the other so pls give both tharntype and vice versa a shot! hope u enjoy :)

Both gave me the similar vibes....in both main leads are in college. One of them is bit shy in revealing their relationship in the beginning because of parents' while other main lead's family is open minded. One of their acquaintances causes misunderstanding between the main leads. In both the series, there is one common friend who knows about their relationship (in DBK its female friend but in TT its a male friend). At the end, its one main leads who clears the misunderstanding by his tactics. In both, the main leads have awesome chemistry. Both are worth watching

In both dramas the straight guys have roommates that they end up falling for. Also the roommates are gay.

Well guys there are a lot of cute moments between the leads and a non boring storyline so you will surely love it.
