One is about a hotel for the afterlife and the other is a funeral home service both send the ghosts with a grudge away
And both fls are my queens so ;)

-Who teams up with a female lead with supernatural abilities
-To get dead people to fulfill their last wishes and move on to the afterlife.

_ Both about Ghost
Jang Man Wol is the CEO of Hotel del Luna. The hotel is situated in downtown in Seoul and has a very old appearance. She made a big error many years ago and, because of this, she has been stuck at Hotel del Luna. She is beautiful, but she is fickle, suspicious and greedy

Both dramas are set around ghosts / the supernatural. Including both dramas are very heart-warming, and know a way in making you cry!

In both shows:
> One of the leads is able to see ghosts while the other lead is a supernatural being.
> Deal with ghosts.
> One of the leads discover things about their past.
> There's a childhood connection between the leads.
> Art direction is top-notch in both shows.
> Both shows have similar endings, albeit Hotel del Luna's is better put together.

Some differences to highlight:
> Whereas Hotel Del Luna has a more episodic feel to it (helping a different ghost each episode), Black weaves all of the episodes together in a big and intricate web. Which means that every episode is about "one same story".
> Black is darker than Hotel del Luna as the drama ventures into the second half.

An immortal female lead who feels jaded toward death. A male lead who reignites her passion for life and may be connected to her past.

Recommendations are more than similarities between 2 dramas..
At 1st glance they share nothing in common but manwol is kinda similar to hina from mr sunshine. They both own a hotel, they have a similar taste in fashion and they are both strong female worriers though hina is slightly more "playful"..
If you loved and missed hina then this is a great drama~
Also both are really aesthetically appealing..

Both have strong independent female leads. Both have a similarly vibed beautiful aesthetic cinematography. And they both are my perfect example of a grear noona romance. But they both have completely different plots.

both are set in a place that is not really accessible to normal humans. has supernatural powers/ creatures in it which are woven into the story. the main character gets a job there and realises that his past life (hotel del luna) and power can help the people there (midnight museum)

Both have Supernatural (rich?) female leads and Rich male lead.

Both have a strong supernatural female lead. Jang Man-wol (Hotel del Luna) is a centuries-old ghost with a tragic past and Shin Seo-ri is a Joseon-era seductress who possesses an actress in the modern day. Both women are seen as villainous or dangerous but have deep emotional scars underneath.

Both are set in the modern world, but tied to historical past. Man-wol is stuck in the modern era because of her sins from Joseon and Seo-ri’s spirit enters the modern world after her Joseon execution.

Both have strong lead. The female lead has no dependency on her counterpart.
It is a period piece. And the darkest secret is yet to reveal...

In both -
1. FL couldn't end her life because of her past mistakes & currently waiting for ML in a shop/hotel & guides souls.
