Takane to Hana Episode 8
Hana constantly thinks about Okamoto's confession and, after careful consideration, rejects him. As for Takane, he hides his love for her behind a filial relationship. Meanwhile, a picture of the two of them staying together at his house is spread like wildfire at Takane's company. Kyokoku mocks him, and Takane apologises. Hana gets to know about the news from her father and runs to confess her love for him... But her heart is broken because of a rule they once set.
The brave Hana, after careful reconsideration, goes to the President to tell him not to harm Takane and that she will take full responsibility for the matter. The grandfather reveals that Takane said a similar thing, and he knew about their tale all along. The motives of Eiji are also expressed by the President, baffling him. The episode concludes with the lead couple walking together with a promising future.
