Otomo Kyoichi works at an advertising company. He has an indecisive personality. Even though he is married, he repeatedly has affairs. One day, a man appears in front of Kyoichi. The man is Imagase Wataru. Wataru graduated from the same university as Kyoichi. It's the first time they have met since Kyoichi graduated. Wataru currently works for a jack-of-all-trades agency that does anything for its customers. He is sent by Kyoichi's wife to investigate whether Kyoichi is having an affair. Japanese Latin dance champion Suzuki Shinya and Japanese standard dance champion Sugiki Shinya are both famous dancers. Although they are in different fields, their names differ by only one letter. Suzuki, who hates to lose, is irritated by being compared to the other dancer. One day, Sugiki suddenly invites Suzuki to "aim to be champion together in 10 Dances." 10 Dances is a competitive dance where dancers who have mastered both Latin and standard dance compete in a total of 10 dances. Suzuki initially refuses Sugiki's proposal to teach each other and aim for the top because it seems too reckless. However, he is overwhelmed by Sugiki's provocative and competitive attitude and accepts in anger. The two are polar opposites in terms of personality and everything and they clash, but as they take lessons every day, they work hard together and gradually close the gap. Then, Suzuki gradually realizes that he is starting to be attracted to Sugiki.
Both are japanese movies about a messy, unhealthy relationships where the male leads in particular hurt their partners (not really abusive but neglectful), mostly unintentionally

He doesnt refuse the other guy completely, though, and doesnt seem to make up his mind > so they become entangled in a complicated love triangle with no clean out

I love Bl angsty drama's and for me personally, I think when it comes to the hiding and emotions part The cornered Mouse dreams of cheese is a great match with Theory of love. Both blend in with the girlfriend problems, although in the cornered mouse dreams of cheese one of the male leads is married. I think the tcmdoc is a more mature and adult version and TOF is more of a college version.
