Following the last episode, Matsuko checked Murakami's popularity with the studio audience. Only 3 people raised their hand. The first topic was the investigation of "mysterious ingredients" across Japan. One ingredients is oilfish, which is prohibited due to laxative effect from its oil. The staff of the show sent Hojo Futoshi to test the fish, but he did not experience any reaction (it happened to a staff instead). Next the show showed another video of solutions to eat certain food like the last episode. After that, they did an anatomy check of scallops and compare the organ with Matsuko as comparison. Some scallop dishes were brought to the studio but Matsuko refused to eat it. Then Tomochika, acting as Chieko Mizutani, was sent to "support" Kabuto-cho, a city which is not as bustling as it used to be. In the end, she also danced to a group restaurant staff.
