The first topic was personal news about people during the summer break. The staff found two teenage girls who mistook Hachiko for the Saigo Takamori statue, a student who was surprised to see a bear in a residential area in Canada, a man who kept saying "strange story", and a woman who said that humans are "a lump of garbage". Next was an investigation of people who continue pursuing the same path. The interviewed people included a man who kept looking for tsuchinoko, a man who spent 8 years making a miniature tourist boat (feat. the Gundam mania from Ep. 397), and the man from Ep. 483 who brought a sack of humus with him all the time. Matsuko then criticized one of the staff member's new hairstyles before remarking that recently there are many trendy hairstyles which do not suit people's faces. They then continued with a quiz about things which might be useful, such as imprisonment threat for a hide-and-seek game, the origin of the word "sake" for salmon, and what will happen to a raisin when it is put into a cup of soda.
