A Chinese dragon dance opened the show, with Murakami saying that the performance did not really fit the size of the studio. They started with the local problems segment, where they investigated the low New Year's otoshidama in Iwate, a place in Shizuoka where the residents do not eat mochi, Shimane residents who love greeting cards, and a photo spot in Fukuoka which is shaped like Doraemon's door. Magician GO (Ep. 397) then came to show a magic trick to the hosts. After that, the hosts were asked to choose the winner of notable people who appeared in the show throughout 2022. They decided to let the studio photographer choose the winner, and he decided to pick Snack Hiro's owner (Ep. 500), as he frequented that place. Next, they watched a video of Mr. Kiritani, who went to an otolaryngologist, printed New Year greeting cards with his "special" printer, and took a trip to Singapore. Following that is the hometown pride interview, where the staff found Echizen City residents, which have a lot of Brazilians, Mon-kichi from Funky Monkey Babys, who is proud of the position of his hometown Hachioji, a Romanian man with the vampire legends, and Irumania (Ep. 125) who appeared in a music video for Iruma City.
