The opening topic was an investigation of average amount spent for Christmas present in Japan. Tokushima Prefecture spent the most in the country, while the neighboring Kochi was the lowest. People in Tokushima said that they have nowhere to spend, while people in Kochi didn't really celebrate Christmas. Next segment was "Saitama Headline News", which included news like a popular chicken flake in Kawagoe and an apple tree which finally bore fruit after 23 years. The hosts later chose two topics but unsure what to talk about them, so they skipped them both. Then Matsuko had an idea to read the next topic with a news anchor tone. After the parody news segment, they investigated the evening chime (Ep. 81) variations in Japan. It turned out that some region used pop songs instead of nursery rhymes. Murakami, who did not know the tone for his hometown, found that the tone was introduced after he left for Tokyo. Lastly, the hosts tried to rank the chimes of 14 out of 23 wards of Tokyo, where most of them used either the "Yuyake Koyake" or the "Westminster" tone. (Source: kisskh)
