The show opened with Murakami giving New Year's greetings, but Matsuko refused to do the same since the filming was in December. For the first topic, they checked on Murakami's hairstyles from he was still a baby. They also compiled all of his hairstyles in the show (Ep. 1, 16, 40, 44, 48, 64, 84). Next topic was an investigation about various people whose position were necessary or not, such as orchestra conductors and vice principals. After that they checked on facts from a book called "90% of..." which showed some facts like 90% of centenarians are female or cucumbers are 90% water. The last topic was part 7 of "Feeding Matsuko Fresh Produce", with tsukitate mochi from Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, as the menu. The mochi makers also let Murakami to pound the mochi.
