A good kind of cringe
For those who are wondering, this is a *happy ending*First, about the things I like in this series:
- I rewatched this to put on reviews as I watched it when it came out and at that time, I loved Tossara more than the other two parts. And now I remember why. One thing is that there is no stressful situations just two people learning to love each other. A good kind of cringe because they are so honest with their feelings that it is too sweet.
- Second, I love the ost. I keep singing Baishasha baishasha even though I dont understand what it meant. It's just really catchy.
- Third. I really love a mature bottom. Typically older bottoms tend to be the one who is spoiled or childlike. However here, Bar is very mature. He really wanted Gun and him to have successful lives and still be in love. I really love how straightforward he is about his feelings in the later episodes.
- Lastly, I love Gun's deep voice in his dubs.
Next, onto things I didnt like:
- First, he keeps denying Gun's feelings just because he says that he(Bar) is a man. I really didnt like this kind of trope. Nowadays gender is not a reason to not like someone. However, in the later eps I liked how he went on a different tune to - - 'I'm a man too so I can take care of you too'.
-I didnt like the peer pressure in this series. The friends keep on teasing him and pushing him to give in to Gun that Bar's changing of feelings is not apparent. Instead, it looked like he fell for Gun because he was teased A lot.
- There is a discussion of consent within the series but Bar's friends didnt seem to do that all throughout the series. They seem really invasive and prying.
- Most of the time they're on the phone. Even the sweet moments revolves around social media. Made it seem less intimate for me.
All in all, if you wanted a lighthearted and sweet short series, this is for you. I assure you will keep smiling and laughing all throughout because of the sweetness.

I don't know
okay so honestly I really liked this story, but I'm not quite sure why, it defiantly had a lot of flaws but for some reason I wanted to keep watching, so here are my thoughts....I get gun was infatuated with Bar but what was really crazy to me is EVERYONE was obsessed with Gun, don't get me wrong he's a cutie but nowhere near as high up there as everyone was making him out to be.
Gun was also a little to strong towards Bar, yes he waited years however, he was trying to make Bar like him but idk if its just me but I could tell in Bar's face that Gun kind of made him a little uncomfortable but Bar didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to upset Gun.
Then the whole confessing his love for Gun on the stage gave me secondhand embarrassment, I mean you lost, say a few words and then talk to Bar in private, I would've been mortified.
Gun was extremely possessive like to the point if that was real life Bar's friends would've been put off by it. Also when Dan came all the way to see Bar and invite him out, Gun was like "im not letting him go" like Bar hasn't seen his friend in forever, let him go out with his friends and the night before Bar suggested moving in together so jut move in and then you'll be able to see him. If someone was like that in real like I would've been like no thank you.

Waste of time
Okay so I kinda loved the story. It could have been fun if Gun was a bit more active. The actor playing Gun was definitely not suitable for the character. Like we needed a confident famous king with a lot of excitement but all we got was a tall guy in glasses delivering cheesy lines with a straight face. It was weird to see someone looking like a nerd with no personality at all to have such a huge fanbase. Like his dressing or styling or facial expressions did not make any sense at all. No hatred towards the actor but if the character was a nerd or weirdo he could have done really well.0 chemistry among the couple. It felt like Gun was forced to flirt with Bar.
Bar on the other hand was the only reason to finish the series. He carried the whole show. That guy is a natural actor. And he's literally so fine. His smile can make places bright. I watched the whole show for Bar only. He just made it a bit bearable. I wanna see him work with better partners. With people who are actually compatible with his acting levels.

Among the worst BLs for me.
I agree with many of the reviews published. The story is nothing new. The main couple cannot be defined as a couple of boyfriends/lovers. The chemistry between them is practically non-existent. If Mark had been in Gun's place it would have been better. Gun absolutely does not have the characteristics of the most handsome guy in school, he seems more like a stalker glued to poor Bar who is often annoyed by Bar's invasiveness. Then, suddenly he changes course and agrees to become her boyfriend. I don't know. The other characters, not found. Was this review helpful to you?

One saving grace
Im an aid BL watcher and i will give any series a chance like any . But by lord this series was a chore there was a few good scenes and moments but they were like like needles in hay stacks . I feel the actor playing gun was incorrectly cast and didnt fit the character or look of the character .he looks too awkward for been the hottest guy in school and the one who they all want The only saving grace was folk who plays bar he was good and has potential and i hope he is in other shows . He was a good actor and has a bright future and i liked the music. I think the side characters were pretty good too im keen to watch the other two shows in the seriesWas this review helpful to you?

There are too many bad review for this drama..while it aint that badThe leads have comparitively less chemistry and the drama has its own cringe moments
But its quite cute and fluffy
The leads chemistry alse develops by the episodes
The rewatch value isnt that much but you wouldnt regret watching this series
The hate on this series is just too much while the storyline is really cute
Its fast pacing a bit tho as it is only of 4 eps
So if you wanna watch a drama before your exams then ypu can watch this:)

Very bad executed.
This drama was really not very good. The story was ok, but not very interesting. The acting was overall very bad. Folk did an ok job but was also not outstanding. There was no chemistry at all between the leads!
I wonder what the other 2 parts of En of love will bring, i hope they will be better.

I felt this was funny and cute at the same time
In my opinion I felt out of all of the En of Love series this one was so hilarious and cute. I literally liked how the whole series was based on Gun and Bar begin together and how Gun is the most attractive guy on campus and that he’s the coolest guy when I saw that he was a funny boy and that Vee was more attractive than him. I am also so obsessed with that cover on Viki because it makes you want to watch it. I will warn you that there may be spoilers so be aware.I actually really loved their story because it was kind of a mix of enemies to lovers and just a normal school drama because Bar was trying so hard to look so cool, but the funny part is that Gun is like ten times taller than him that he looks not as tough anymore. I also loved how the plot was focused on how Gun had had a crush on Bar ever since high school and now that they are in the same school together they have a higher chance of dating since they both older now. I also loved them when they were dating because they were absolutely adorable because all of their tiny moments were absolutely adorable. The funny part was that everyone kept saying that Bar was Gun’s wife and I even believe it because he’s so adorable. Anyways this series is a must watch because it was funny and very enjoyable.

Omg. Just not for me.
Something just got really wrong. I've been watching every work where P'New is part of the crew since Love Sick, as director, producer or whatever, but this time I'm really disappointed, specially after UWMA, that elevated the standards of BLs to another level. The cast is so inexperienced, you can notice how hard they tried, but still their acting skills lacks in a way that you just can't keep going. I dunno who coached the cast, but that was the biggest issue, they weren't ready.Nothing new in the plot, actually it looks like a bunch of other BLs glued in a very wing way. Not even a memorable OST.
But mai pen rai, I'll skip this one and wait for the next production of Wabi Sabi Studio.

When I first heard this drama was going to be made into a series, I was excited. I'm always excited about a new BL. Then I saw that the first book was only going to be 4 episodes and my red flag went up.The first episode of this, I had no idea how to feel. I was a little put off by Gun and wanted to slap Bar so hard his grand-kids would feel it. I always like to give a show (no matter the language) at least three episodes to decide if I'm going to continue or drop. Since this one only had four episodes, I continued.
Let me explain - Lets begin with the casting. Honestly, they could have done better. Win (Gun) and Folk (Bar) are good-looking but they had ZERO chemistry. Folk had this annoyed look like he didn't want to be there, almost dead behind the eyes. I know, some of the times he was supposed to be annoyed but he had the same facial expression throughout the entire thing. Win, he looked like a completely different person than the poster which is weird in itself but he was just stiff.
Then we get to the actual characters.
Gun seems like a nice enough guy. And maybe it's because the courting customs on my side of the world is different, but he was a bit stalker-ie. It feels like everywhere Bar was, Gun would show up, being all weird and creepy. I don't know if the first book was long or short, but this drama should have been more than 4 eps if they wanted it to be meaningful.
Bar on the other hand just seem as if he caved and started liking Gun because Gun wouldn't just go away.
Watching this bl was cringie the entire time. It ended and I quiet honestly am not sure what that was. I love BL with happy endings and this had one, so I supposed that was something.
It had moments of light, but I just--I'm still staring at the poster thinking "WTF?"

Good and funny
When I see a bar (folk), she's very sexy huh. Moreover, he was handsome when he was in the pool until I could not hold my eyes and also his gun was cute and very shy to say love to the bar, and vice versa the bar was ashamed to express its taste. And the funny part is that at the end of the episode, they really don't want to see it because they are both embarrassed after being caught by a bar friend.
it didn't feel like the episode until 4 was finished very quickly, I really wanted to see the two of them shooting again, please make the next season about bar and gun (Tossara) and also I wanted to see his gun friends, Beam and Nat rarely appear on screen. I hope the shoot or production team can reproduce the multiply episodes later in the next season. I'm waiting for your announcement when it will be released. Then, dont split episodes. I miss you Bar, GUN, Beam, Nat and Endoflove team
