Noooooo Ho Gyuuuuuuu T.T T.T T.T

Honestly, I'm actually really impressed the show decided to actually kill him rather than just put him in the hospital like most buddy cop shows do. It shows there are real stakes in this show and they're not afraid to kill any of the characters off, even if they're well liked, if the story calls for it. Even so, I'm super heartbroken. He was such a great character that started on the team so begrudgingly but eventually felt like part of the team, even if he somewhat betrayed them to save his career. I appreciate such an interesting character, and I'm so sad he's gone. Especially after that sweet visit with Jin Kyeong, where the show seemed to imply they might eventually get together. Ahh I applaud them for their storytelling, but I still wish he could have survived.

Oh man, I can't believe our teamjangnim killed Ho Gyu! The last episode was definitely pointing at him because he's the only other person we know Ho Gyu knows in the police force that he would be surprised to have show up at the construction site, but I was like, "surely our teamjangnim isn't that sort of person. This must be a red herring..." Ughh I'm so gutted that he could do that to Ho Gyu. It's one thing to take the flash drive, but it's another to shoot him in cold blood. It wasn't even in the midst of a fight -- it was as Ho Gyu was running away. Wow, I knew he wasn't as competent as Tae Shik, but not being clever isn't a crime. I didn't think he could be this disloyal, especially to a member of his own team he was supposed to be in charge of and be looking after. Dang, this show's writernim doesn't pull punches...T,T
