I'm going crazy (Originally posted 2020-4-14)

Oh my GOD, I hate Jo Yi-seo with a burning passion. I don’t know if she gets better in the coming episodes but for real whenever I see a scene with her my blood just BOILS. Like I get the whole "sociopath" theme that she portrays, but honestly, she is the character I hate the most, even more than the actual bad guys. Am I getting worked up over a fictional character? Yes. She has no respect for the people around her, and even though that's her theme, I don't get why the people around her still do. she has been incredibly mean to every one of the main characters and honestly her "good deeds" to make it up to them just don't seem genuine. It’s always like she's giving a backhanded compliment. My god, I just hope she gets better in the upcoming episodes.

Sometimes it's scary how understanding…

Sometimes it's scary how understanding Saeroyi is. And can we please talk about how racist Yi-seo was this episode and no one said anything? I mean, she treated Toni very badly and then posted a blog and evrybody acted like she ended racism, please... And I may be saying something wrong, but didn't Toni say he was from Guiana? And Guiana is not in Africa, so Toni isn't african.

Power

As expected, the President believes power is obtained by money and wealth rather than by acts of love. To be schooled by Sae-yo-ri in that power based on the love of those who matter most is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the one derived from fear of punishment -- that must have been quite a blow. True Yeo-si is selfish, ruthless, and downright insensitive, but what appeals most about her is she is a straight shooter, no hidden agendas, and more than that, she learns from her mistake and is not averse to changing her ways. People with great passions who accomplish great deeds and who possess strong feelings, with great minds and a strong personality, rarely come out of good little boys and girls. While Yeo Si can often act ugly and unsympathetic, I don’t think she is prejudiced so much as she doesn’t care to understand other people's feelings nor share in anyone else’s pain except Sae's -- this, of course, does not excuse her behavior. She is, however, open to change and developing a relationship through interactions with Sae -- I like that about her. Sae-yo-ri might have solved the immediate issue at hand, but the President will not take any of it lying down. He is ready to go after what Sae cares about most. It's all-out war now!
