Upon realizing that they are characters in Wen Xi’s novel, Cheng Jun and Ze Xin jostle to be the love of the heroine. Despite the academy’s crackdown on the novel, Wen Xi takes the risk to write one when she learns both her brother and mother are sick and in need of more money.
