Cheng Jun’s father admits to the crime of bribery despite being innocent. Special envoy Wang becomes the head investigator for the case and finds official Han guilty of ignoring the Emperor’s edict for barging into the academy. Cheng Jun is found innocent and released due to witnesses that he never left that academy that night and evidence of no injuries. Wen Xi also pleads guilty, but special envoy Wang sends her to the state government, out of official Han’s hands.
