KIN and YU have finally become lovers and start dating the following day. YU is thrilled and touched to see that KIN has taken up driving again all because of her. They go to have dinner at a restaurant, in the course of which KIN discovers that he has dropped the lucky coin left by HONG. Despite KIN’s opposition, YU sneaks back to the park to look for the coin, where she suddenly loses balance and falls over. Following a detailed check-up, NGOK believes that YU needs to undergo surgery at once to have the tumor removed. Seeing YU being taken into the operating theatre, LAN and the rest of the family are all consumed with worry. While waiting for the pathological report, NGOK and KIN carry on with the surgery. NGOK is upset to learn that YU’s tumor is an astrocytoma and KIN is also enlightened to the fact that the tumor cells in YU cannot be removed completely.
