The Best of You in My Mind Episode 1

Lin Xi Chi, an upbeat and cheerful girl loses an arm wrestling match at school with her best friend and neighbour Xu Fang. One of the tasks leads her to wear a pair of stockings that was deemed disrespectful to the school and she is punished for it. However, the clothing ends up being a cause for misunderstanding at her home and and her parents argue, leading to her mom cutting short her visit from a faraway town, where she worked as a surgeon. Xi Chi's life is rocked even more when she realizes that her seemingly normal family, and her rare visits from her mom, may not be as okay as she thought. Xu Fang tries to explain the truth to her, but Xi Chi is upset about the turn of events and breaks off their friendship. She leaves for her Grandpa's home for undisturbed studies.
