This should be in everybody's top 3 dramas, i've watched it 3x

CLOY set the standard for romance dramas for me. It was my first, so i kind of set myself up for disappointment since nothing else quite measures up to this lovely romance drama.

Yoon Se-ri is an intelligent, strong, independant CEO who crashes into the DPRK while testing a product for her company. She's been mistreated by those around her - including her family, which serve as the main antagonists for our story. We all know it gets competitive - and sometimes deadly - in chaebol families, but Seri does not let this affect her. She is a resilient woman who pushes her way to success in spite of the snakes surrounding her. So, when unforseen circumstances arise during the testing of a parachute (c'mon, how cool is this chick?) she ends up literally crash landing into the arms of our stoic male lead, Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok, in the dangerous bordering country of North Korea. In the most basic sense, the show is about how Yoon Seri navigates this dangerous land and tries to make her way back to South Korea. In a broader sense, this show is about the longing Koreans feel for reunification, and the difficulties posed by people who have loved ones on the opposite side. They may speak the same language and have some similarities, but the across the border is another world, completely unknown to the other. Part of CLOY's charm is in the small details, and watching pampered rich girl Seri making her way in a much more difficult life which she is not accustomed to, and learning with her that there is more to Captain Ri than meets the eye. The reverse is also true when soldiers of the DPRK get to experience capitalism for the first time. It's hilarious at times and endearing. I truly enjoyed Captain Ri's troop of soldiers as well, these characters had me rooting for them all the way, first seeing seri as a burden then warming up to call her a sister. The character arcs are also really well written, the motivations are clear, and the loyalty/deep affection the group has for one another is what made me keep watching this drama over and over.

Hyun Bin is incredibly handsome and dapper, while son ye-jin is gorgeous with a contagious smile. Finding out afterward that these actors are married IRL was honestly icing on the cake. The chemistry is the best i've ever seen on-screen. I was also rooting for our 2nd leads romance, everyone did so well in this production that i was absolutely hooked from the first episode.

This is one that i'll always recommend. It explores difficult topics such as grief, depression, and suicide, while putting a spotlight on life in the DPRK and the longing of reunification by south korea. CLOY's got all the best ingredients: action, romance, suspense, betrayal, lighthearted moments of comedy, tests of friendship, and resilience. Give it a try!!!

Okay let's review this, I'll try my best not to spoil anything
This is an almost flawless drama, but sadly it's always the latter episodes that "ruins" it. Not that bad though.

First and foremost the casting of this drama is the main thing about this drama for me
Yes, I'm talking about Son Ye Jin, I can explain to you why I'm interested in this drama just because of her being the female lead here, but it's a story for another time.

Let's talk about the great acting which I gave 10/10 score first
Initially, I'm only interested in the main leads acting, but who would've thought that the 4 Army Guys (especially Pyo Chi Su xd) is actually the most interesting and I'd say the most vital part about this show, if it weren't for these guys, this show would totally flop.

Here I will explain why it'd flop really hard (especially on the latter episodes)
The MAIN reason is characterization of the villain (Jo Chul Gang), It's too one dimensional and he keeps doing unreasonable things just to escalate the story. I know they kinda explain why he did such things, but it's too much of a stretch to say the least. To put it simply, it's getting boring every time he does that.

And second, we don't get to see much of our second lead, it's too disappointing because they have unique background and personalities, such wasted potential.

Despite all that, I still love this show mainly because I love seeing the interaction between the cast and the music is great, oh and the shooting places are beautiful <3 <3

I thought this drama was overrated at first, but when I watched it, I realized why there was a lot of hype. Standing alone, this drama was really good, but if I compare it to other dramas I've watched, I wouldn't say it was AMAZING. But focusing on this one, I really loved the storyline, like imagine waking up in North Korea and falling in love with one of the soldiers. It's a wild ride HAHAH. I actually really loved the second lead couple and I was so sad when Gu Chan Seong...ya know :< Captain Ri's aegyo was HILARIOUS and that Pil Soo guy really brought the comedy in this drama.

good acting, horrible characters

I never write reviews but I hated this so much.

First of all, I started watching this drama because I thought it would be interesting to see how they represented North Korea in a drama, and let me just say, it was so dumb

I couldn't get past the second episode because everything is just so unrealistic, I understand it's a drama, most of them are like that but what got me the most was the female lead's behavior. I mean it's almost impossible to not know what's going on in North Korea especially if you're South Korean, but the way she gets there and asks people for their cellphones or demands to eat meat daily, and then the male lead GIVES her the only piece of meat they have and she just eats it like???? bro are you dense? I just couldn't get past that. she seems so bratty and entitled it was just impossible for me to keep watching. also, the male lead doesn't have much character so far he's just there, and idk I don't think it's the actors' fault because they're good it's just the writing/directing that's bad

Sorry Hyun Bin, it's a no from me.

I was totally going to love this drama, everyone else did and it had my first Asian love Hyun Bin.
Only I couldn't and I'm dropping.
Even the great Hyun couldn't make me like the heroine (wanted to slap her!) or get over the oppressive North Korea setting. It all prevented me from just sitting back and enjoying. I know everyone else loves it and I can see that it's expertly done, and of course Hyun Bin is as suave as ever.
What l did like is the opening sequence, a work of art with great music and the split screen showing them doing the same things but oh so differently!
Still, I didn't like it and am dropping.

Ho adorato l'amicizia tra la protagonista e i personaggi della Corea del Nord, sopratutto i militari.
Famiglia e lealtà: Oltre alla storia d’amore, il drama esplora i legami familiari, soprattutto il rapporto con la madre per la FL, e i rapporti irrisolti tra il padre e il ML, un trauma irrisolto su un componente della famiglia che non c'è più ma ha lasciato strascichi ingombranti nella vita dei protagonisti, le aspettative sociali e il peso delle responsabilità individuali. Le dinamiche familiari, sia di Se-ri che dei personaggi nordcoreani, sono fondamentali per comprendere le scelte e i sacrifici dei protagonisti.
Personaggi e Interpretazioni : Hyun Bin (Ri Jeong-hyeok) e Son Ye-jin (Yoon Se-ri) regalano interpretazioni molto intense, dando vita a personaggi complessi e profondi. Hyun Bin meraviglioso nelle scene d'azione.
La loro chimica, forse coadiuvata dall'essere realmente una coppia nella vita reale, contribuisce in modo decisivo al successo emotivo della serie. Anche i personaggi secondari sono ben sviluppati e dotati di profondità psicologica, tanto che lo spettatore si affeziona a ciascuno di loro.
Narrazione e Stile: la sceneggiatura è IL vero punto di forza, la storia alterna sapientemente momenti di suspense, romanticismo, comicità e dramma. L’uso di flashback e una narrazione non lineare arricchiscono la trama, mantenendo alta la tensione emotiva. Un des meilleurs dramas que je n'ai jamais vu !

C'est un immense coup de coeur !
Je ne me suis pas ennuyée une seule seconde lors de ces 16 épisodes ! Quand bien même les meilleurs des dramas deviennent à la longue récurrents et lassants, là, j'en suis moi-même étonnée : j'ai adoré chaque épisode jusqu'au dernier. Les OST sont incroyables et les images ( surtout de la Suisse ) sont vraiment très belles.
L'histoire est fluide et imprévisible ( c'est que je préfère ) mais aussi triste et drôle. De plus, la fin est réaliste et heureuse, ce qui comble toutes les attentes que j'ai d'un bon drama.
Les acteurs principaux jouent avec une justesse incroyable. Surtout l'actrice qui incarne Yoon Se-ri, je me suis fait happer par son personnage, qu'elle incarne avec une grande finesse, je me suis énormément attachée à elle. Le couple principale est si touchant, leurs adieux à répétitions ainsi que leur amour si flagrant ont fait fondre mon p'tit cœur. Les personnages secondaires sont eux-mêmes géniaux : le groupe de soldats, Man Bok et les villageoises...mais aussi Seo Dan et sa mère (⁠~⁠‾⁠▿⁠‾⁠)⁠~.
J'ai adoré le personnage de la mère de Seo Dan et le fait que cette dernière finisse célibataire. Un cas rare dans les dramas coréens mais qui montre bien que oui ! Une femme peut vivre heureuse en dehors du mariage !
Deux petits bémols ( mais vraiment légers car comme je l'ai dit je suis totalement in love de ce drama ) : j'aurai aimé voir la réconciliation de Se-ri et sa mère en direct, car j'attendais énormément de ces retrouvailles...et j'aimerais croire que les services secrets Sud-coréens sont aussi respectueux et bienveillants mais quelque chose me dit que ce n'est pas le vraiment le cas dans la réalité. Bon...cela sert l'histoire donc ça va...mais on voit bien l'apologie qui est faite de la Corée du Sud.
En bref, ce drama est une pépite, alors cela va sans dire : je vous le recommande fortement (⁠＾⁠∇⁠＾⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♪

Seré directa y concisa: todo el mundo a ver crash landing on you.

No puedo hablar de este dorama sin hacer mil spoilers, solo diré que se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos. He llorado y reído con todo mi emoción.

Es una historia llena de acción, romance, amistad, comedia y mucho drama. Te hace cogerle cariño a muchos personajes, valorar no solo el amor y el darlo todo por la persona que amas, también la amistad y lo importante que es tener a gente que esta ahi par ayudarte.
La OST es una preciosa, y me hace llorar igual al recordar todas las escenas.

Un drama addictif

Dès le départ, il fallait oser se lancer dans une telle histoire : Son Ye Jin se retrouve propulsée en Corée du Nord, alors qu'elle a tout, voir même est une enfant gâtée, en Corée du Sud. Elle tombe sur un soldat de Corée du Nord, qui poussé par un élan inconnu, décide qu'elle n'est pas une menace, et fait tout pour la renvoyer chez elle en Corée du Sud. S'ensuit moultes péripéties, et une série qui se passe, moitié en Corée du Nord, puis moitié en Corée du Sud.
Rien que le parallèle Corée du Nord/Corée du Sud est osé, mais très bien ficelé. Est-il réel, sincèrement je ne sais pas, mais on s'en fout.
Les personnages tant principaux que secondaires sont menés de main de maitre, les acteurs sont toujours justes et touchants.
L'histoire principale est magnifique, mais toutes les histoires secondaires imbriquées les unes dans les autres, sont tout aussi tristes, charmantes, que captivantes. Les intrigues sont nombreuses, on est absorbé par chaque épisode.
Certains paysages sont aussi superbes, et un plus pour la bande son : Les musiques sont en accord avec le drama, et magnifiques à écouter.
Le couple principal marche à merveille, et nous amène dans leur histoire, sans se poser de question.

Dorama: Pousando no amor!

Esse foi o melhor dorama que já assisti na minha vida!!
Diferente do que muitas pessoas dizem, não achei essa história tão clichê como outros doramas, pelo fato de que não é todo dia que você vai voar de paraquedas e é pego por um tornado e vai parar na área militar da Coreia do Norte...
O casal principal não deixou a desejar em nenhum aspecto, tinham uma química que não consigo descrever, suas histórias individuais eram muito boas também, que por diversas vezes se cruzaram.
O casal secundário começou a ganhar forças no meio do dorama, o que me deixou muito feliz, já que comecei a shippa-los com muuuita força! Mas, fiquei completamente desolada com o final deles, não queria que o Seung-joon morresse e deixasse a Seo Dan sozinha, mas espero que se ocorrer uma segunda temporada, ele volte misteriosamente....
Os soldados amigos do Capitão Ri tiveram uma participação impecável, trazendo alegria e um toque de comédia que fez toda a diferença
A Se-ri antes de parar na Coreia do Norte não tinham amigas de verdade, mas quando passou a ficar na casa do capitão Ri, fez amizades com as mulheres da vila, uma amizade muito engraçada, que fez uma baita diferença na vida de Se-ri, e uma parte que me emocionou muito foi nos últimos episódios, quando ela fez uma linha de cremes de sua empresa, onde tinha o rosto de cada amiga que ela fez lá, onde a linha desses cremes se chamava "Saudade"
Tinha um ranço pela família dela, que pareciam ser interesseiros e só queria o mal dela. Durante o dorama, ela consegue reatar o relacionamento com a mãe e mandou aquele irmão imbecil dela e sua esposa pra cadeia
O final me deixou feliz e triste. Feliz por que "ficaram juntos", mas triste pois eles só podiam se ver 1 vez por ano, por duas semanas na Suíça.
Vale super a pena assistir esse dorama, foi o dorama onde mais chorei em toda a minha vida, mas cada lágrima valeu a pena, e assim, se tornou meu dorama favorito!


( Confesso que queria muito que o Capitão Ri deserdasse a Coreia do Norte para ir pro Sul, mas não aconteceu)
