Akiyoshi Date (Toru Nakamura), director of the "Japan Institute of Forensic Medicine," was directly appointed by an anatomist Takashi Yuki (Naoto Omori) to attend the judicial autopsy conducted by Keizo Nakazono (Marie Iitoyo). The victim is a gang member, Yuichi Chiba (Kosaku Isahaya). Chiba died in a snack shop in the entertainment district by being shot in the abdomen and between his brows.
