Ancient Detective

although Ancient Detective is not as great of Judge Dee's Mystery but still if you like detective theme you can definitely try this one ...

Both are pretty similar. But in Psych-Hunter he is trying to find out who he is or someone is trying to help them. Also, spoiler both are trying to find out what happened that led to all these incidents. Very similar, just different time periods.

Both Ancient Detective and Love Is More Than a Word contain mysteries in a wuxia/historical Chinese setting, and a strong bromance (tho of course Ancient Detective also has a heterosexual romance and is not a censored gay romance, but there is still some good subtext imo).

If you like, smart ML with an assassin girlfriend and a martial genius best friend (fantastic bromance) who falls in love with a spy - all the while solving crimes that lead to the greater mystery of who he is this is the show for you! Comedy, Romance, Martial Arts, Clever and Fun watch Ancient Detective!

They have similar character.
Both the main lead is so smart.
The difference is song ci based on the real character of someone from the past

Both are light, easy to watch dramas. They both have people teaming up to do detective work in ancient times.

Both shows feature a duo of male leads as they investigate suspicious cases, developing friendships along the way

Both dramas are centered around martial arts and have elements of mystery and action as well as some romance. Also, they both have male leads that appear at times to be weaker than the females. If you like martial arts and mystery dramas, but are looking for something a bit shorter than Legend of Fei, Ancient Detective is a good option, because it's interesting, of a similar production quality to Legend of Fei, and could serve as a good in-between show to watch while waiting for the rest of Legend of Fei to premiere.

Although AD is more of an investigation style and Agatha Christie vibe but there are some similarities. (But Ancient Detective is better on those in my opinion.)

•The relatively more cheerful 2nd male lead who fights alongside ML and protects him (And they become friends right away).
•The female lead who knows how to fight and protects the male lead.
•The love between the 2nd male lead and the 2nd female lead is similar to the love between Lei Wu Jie and Ruo Yin.

* Low-to-mid budget but surprisingly good storytelling.
* Hint of larger conspiracy beyond the surface cases.

Both male leads are phisiciens poisoned ,weak, intelligent an often saved by strong fls.
They are cracking mysteries with the help of their companions.
The romance is also very nice , mls and fls having a great chimestry.
The story line is nice wrapped-up.

- developed side characters (both dramas have really cool side leads that makes you fall in love with them)

DIFFERENCES:
- Miss S is female lead-based; smart & strong, no-nonsense personality but also hilarious

- Ancient Detective has a more serious atmosphere with a bit of humor in it

Totally reccomend! Miss S has a lighter atmosphere compare to Ancient Detective but both are really good in their own ways.

Ancient Detective is a wuxia detective story. Along the way, he finds a love interest and a good friend who work hand in hand with him to solve mysterious cases. Bromance feels. : )

The brotherhood is real! Although one is modern time and the other one is ancient times, the plots of each case or "crime" committed is super interesting. Plus, the romance in both is super cute.
