Both are workplace slice of life but their strength isn't in their setting. it's the storytelling that's done so well.
We get to see not only the main cast, but also the stories of surrounding characters. it may be sad or conflicting, but usually ends in a comforting tone. tears, laughter, awws, and warmth.
in this sense, the rollercoaster of emotions every single episode exactly the same. work setting is just the stage; the essence is in the feelings conveyed that result in feel good vibe by the end of each ep.

Both kdrama has gynecologist male doctor. And I am looking forward to Lee Minho playing that type of character.
Both kdrama has different genre. HP is doctor slice of life type kdrama. And Ask the stars (when stars gossip) is space genre.
- Flies named public and indecency having sex. And ml and fl watching it.
- Want to watch surgery of mouse in zero gravity. Then ask the stars.

-Both the dramas have same theme
-Both of them have family issues and how they solve them
my opinion is that Doctor John is a much better on then hospital playlist cause in each episode of doctor john i laughed, i cried, i was serious and i enjoyed it to fullest(this is only a opinion that can differ to person to person)

Nijiiro Karute and Hospital Playlist are slice-of-life medical dramas. Both dramas feature heartwarming stories about the characters. There are no villains or complicated conflicts; just the characters and their day-to-day problems that we can all probably relate to in one way or another. Because they're relatable, it is easy to become attached to the characters of both dramas. Both dramas have beautiful music! And of course, FOOD!
On their differences: Nijiiro Karute is much shorter than Hospital Playlist (9 episodes with just around 45-50 minutes per episode). Nijiiro Karute also does not have romance, whereas each of the five leads in Hospital Playlist have their own love story. NK is more into friendship and found family. NK also does not focus on medical procedures.
I highly recommend you bring tissues with you while watching these dramas because there's a high chance they would make you cry.

As an avid fan of hospital playlist, I can assure you Law School is worth it. What i really lijed about Hospital Playlist is the multiple characters, their friendship, learning about the day-to-day life in hospital and the slice of life vibes. All of these elements are present in Law School
Except this time, it is about law students. It has its own unique charm as well. Go for it.

This drama is centric around a hospital environment similar to Doctor Cha, and shows relationships that take place within all of the character's work environments. A similarity is that three of the main characters went to university together similar to how the Hospital Playlist cast did, but their school years impacted them very differently between the two dramas.
The comedy aspect is just as pleasing as Hospital Playlist, and gives me the same joy watching. Doctor Cha is completely different, however, in terms of the plot not being completely centric in job, but her domestic household life as well. The work aspect of her job is also that of a resident than that of the professors in Hospital Playlist.
