Not everyone's cup of tea but it's so addicting for people like me❤❤
I would want to know about the everyday lives of doctors who are friends and have simultaneous personal and professional lives. ONE DAY AT A TIME.I didn't quite enjoy Dr. Romantic or other medical shows, as they were so dramatic and action-filled. This slice of life is more of my jam. 10/10. #relatable.

Another living proof why k-medical drama is a god tier
it's a fun coincidence that I finished watching this on it's first year anniversary. The reason I watched this is because its rank number one slot on mydramalist, which really deserves the slot. Korean medical drama is my cup of tea so I enjoyed watching this show.STORY & CAST
Heartwarming and inspirational drama. Hospital Playlist gives me too much positivity in life. Also, the show offers a well-packed medical field of professions. Giving us a thoracic surgeon, pediatrician, obstetrician, neurologist, and a general surgeon, all in one medical show.
I don't know if the absence of a villain character in the story is a good thing or a bad thing. Good because it's not typical compare from other shows and just mainly focus on being a light drama. Bad thing because I guess there is no stable or concrete problem to be solve and suspense the viewers.
The show made me admired doctors and health workers more. I gained too many lessons from both medical field and real life lessons.
Not too much fan of romance. I am neutral on the romance explicit in the story. But Jung Won and Gyeo Wool is an exception. I love how their love story revolved. Also, Chi Hong one sided love towards Song Hwa makes me sad but gives me butterflies at the same time. I do hope that Song Hwa will fall for him on season 2.
The main characters' friendship is strong and reliable. Even with their individual differences, they perfectly bond together.
ACTING
I don't have anything bad to say about their acting because every one of them nailed it and delivered the role in a natural way.
MUSIC
The band members are too talented. I love how they stick with their title Hospital Playlist, performing songs every episodes is too artistic.
OVERALL
I gave this a 9/10 rating because I was not really attached with it and I feel like something is missing. Many casting or characters has its own pros and cons.
I'm excited for the second season.

Perfect Slice of Life
I didn’t think I’d enjoy this show as much as I did. Even though their lives are centered around being doctors (who have a band lol), it didn’t take away from their individual stories. There’s a wonderful balance of comedy, relationships, tragedy, home life, work life and of course friendship.
Only thing I’d say is I’d love to see more screen time of them doing covers in the band. I loved the selection of songs they covered. Hopefully, season 2 covers that!
Very relatable, eye opening, tear jerking, but heart warming series. 10 out of 10 recommend <3

The best medical drama there is.
Its a slice of life medical drama/musical. It revolves around a barkada of 5 doctors who work around their share of inner turmoil and hardships.I dont watch slice of life cuz apparently i find it boring. And i almost dropped this show as well but i kept going and wow. The feelings these characters make you feel. It was a very wholesome show to watch and had this calm vibe to it. It showed the ups and downs and fragility of human life in every single episode and not to mention highlighted what role does a doctor play and how important and demanding their jobs can be! The characters are quite likeable. All of them were my favs but if i were to choose one absolute fav it has to be jun wan. This snarly grump turned into a jumping giggling floof ball the moment ik sun said yes ☠️🥹 so cute and adorbs.

EP12 of #HospitalPlaylist has to be one of the most stressful EP in the series. Though I loved each and every second of it. Waited a whole week for just 1EP, it was worth it. Each and every moment was beautiful. The beautiful friendship among the 5 is what I live for. Their amazing friendship, their band practices, the relationship among each & every character, be it- couples, families or b/w hospital staff. Loved how casual they were with senior doctors & director o the hospital. The interactions with patients was beautiful.
The last EPs did start many relationships, we will definitely see further development among these. I'm so happy Jung-won isn't going to be a priest, Song-hwa would be gone for a year, please return after full recovery. And last I want to thank all the production staff, writer-nim & all the actors for delivering this beautiful and heartfelt drama that everyone could enjoy and relief all their stress.
Cannot wait for next season. What will I do till then?

THE BEST MEDICAL DRAMA
I don't usually write reviews, but this drama deserves it. I finished it a few months ago but hadn't thought about writing a review until now.I have a lot to say about this series, but I want to start by saying that it's not for everyone. Considering that Shin Won Ho and Lee Woo Jung (director and writer of series like Prison Playbook and Reply) are behind this series, it's not surprising that it may not be for everyone, as it has its characteristic style that may not appeal to the general audience.
The series has a somewhat slow start as it needs to introduce many characters, and you might find yourself confused during the first two or three episodes. However, after a few more episodes, you'll be completely immersed in this great story. Personally, I love it because it's not the typical medical series we're accustomed to. There are no doctors with superhuman and unreal abilities, and they're not always rushing around the emergency room or in life-or-death surgeries. This series is more than that; it avoids falling into the typical clichés found in other dramas. It focuses more on the friendship of the five protagonists and their daily lives within the same hospital.
The relationship between the protagonists is incredible; their chemistry goes beyond the screen, and at times, you can feel that they're not acting but displaying their real personalities. Each of them has their problems and insecurities, but they support each other in difficult times, and in good times, they are always there to have fun together.
Another thing I want to mention is that the OST of this series is wonderful. I finished the series months ago, but I'm still listening to the songs because they are really good.
This series may not be for everyone, but if it manages to captivate you, you'll find it hard to let go, and you'll miss all the characters when it's over. It's a slow series that takes its time to tell its story. The romance is so well-written that it doesn't overshadow what is truly important in this narrative: friendship and the patients they have to help day by day.
If you've made it this far, thank you very much for reading, and I hope that if you decide to watch it, you enjoy it as much as I did.

Best Ever ...
By far the most charismatic Korean series I’ve ever watched. The story revolves on 5 doctors in their 40s who met during their medical school years — where they eventually ended up becoming best friends. This is not your typical Korean series, as it is unique and different from the usual Korean shows you’re used to watching — it’s fresh, a new concept with no heavy dramas, no complicated plots — its like a slice of life, a realistic life of medical practitioners, their daily struggles inside the hospital walls, and their personal lives.
This’ll make you laugh, cry, laugh, and cry. Over and over again. I recommend it if you want light-hearted entertainment. This might not be as flashy as other kdramas may be, however you’ll be touched watching the doctors go about on their lifestyles.
5/5
Best ever!!!

Good Quality Kdrama
I really enjoyed watching this Kdrama. Even though the first episodes were kinda confusing (I shold mention: this was my first medical drama) since I didn't understand how the whole hospital staff hierarchy works, the story really grew into me. The characters are all very different and unique, and you can surely find someone you can relate to. Overall this kdrama is enjoyable, funny at times, full of friendships moments that will make you desire to have that kind of relationship with someone. Would surely recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
Healing the World with Music (and also, like, actual doctor stuff)
First things first: learn from my mistake, and DO NOT binge watch Hospital Playlist. I know you, binge-watchers. I am you. As soon as you've got a grip on the plot and you've figured out your favourite storylines, you've got one finger hovering over the 10-second-skip button. Because who has the time to spend a full day watching doctors going about their daily lives, occasionally stopping to sing in their wee garage band? Not me. You watch the friends-to-lovers, the highly competent doctors goofing around with each other, the occasional patient success story, skippity skip through the 'boring' bits. You finish the final episode and it's okay, great, maybe, but isn't there something missing? Why?Because Hospital Playlist is not the show for that. Hospital Playlist is a show that washes over you, slowly, until you feel completely assimilated into the environment, until the characters are your old med school buddies (yes, even though you studied English Lit). It is a show whose magic lies in the littlest interactions, the characters built up through seemingly irrelevant dialogues with patients and colleagues. It is a show that reminds you there is good in the world, despite everything. That people are still kind, despite everything. Not because of any thrilling plot or grand love story, but through the genuine love and kindness expressed by just about every character in the show.
Hospital Playlist is a rare show which leaves you wanting to be a better person. To hold your loved ones a little tighter, not out of fear but out of gratitude; gratitude that you get to be alive as you are, just laughing and eating and breathing by their side. Hospital Playlist reminds us that life's not about the big things. It's about love. About giving and receiving and giving some more. No matter how bad things can sometimes seem, Hospital Playlist tells us that as long as you have your people, your kindness for others, your love for the world, well, that's a pretty good life indeed.

Pleasantly nice drama
Since it's a hospital drama, I expected it to have hospital politics and lots of surgeries. But this drama had very few hospital politics, and instead of the surgeries, it depended mostly on the conversation of the information to the guardians about the patients. This is where it differs from the other hospital dramas. Moreover, this drama focuses more on the 5 long-time friends and the rest of the time, it's just about the other doctors and doctors-to-be, along with their romantic life. Overall, it was a nice watch, considering all the funny moments to the tone-deaf singer to all those munching moments. Was this review helpful to you?
